I’m slowly but surely completing your request for spring fashion content and it’s a welcome one! I’ve actually been looking for a cute light jacket for spring myself. The weather is tricky right now, still cold in the mornings but some afternoons into the 50s or even 60s. It’s definitely jacket weather, but I think I can retire my heaviest puffy coat (famous last word). My favorite jackets for spring are usually raincoats, blazers, lightweight insulated/quilted jackets or lightweight fleece jackets. I actually already have most of these in my closet (yay!) but I have a “more dressy” raincoat and quilted coat on my wish list. Today I’ve rounded up some really great lightweight jackets for spring.

You can’t go wrong with a lightweight wool blazer for spring. It makes any outfit look chic, and it provides warmth without bulky layers. A classic navy blue blazer is so timeless and chic. This Sézane Michele Navy Jacket It’s beautiful (recycled polyester/wool blend). I wear it with everything from denim to white pants to midi dresses. Available in four gorgeous colors, this white Boden blazer is a wool/viscose blend that’s perfect for transitioning spring weather!

Lightweight Insulated Quilted Jacket
For a workout or more casual attire, a lightweight insulated or quilted jacket is a good choice. Patagonia Nano Puff is my favorite lightweight insulation, perfect for spring outdoors (it’s thin and light enough to fit under another jacket too).I just ordered this Summersalt spring reversible eco-quilted jacket. I like the slightly longer length and it’s reversible! A very light but warm layer that is not too bulky.

Wool coat
For those days when it’s still cold and you need a warm layer, I’d go for a light wool coat in spring.Pair it with white trousers or even a dress for a very chic look (see My YouTube video on cold weather spring clothing). I was delighted to discover Such an incredibly chic style Summersalt is made from recycled wool. It comes in three different classic colors, but I love camel.Another gorgeous style is Cezanne Johnson coat. This one is on the thicker side, but would be a great transition piece, especially layered On a nice spring shirt.
