Review – Would you rather have four separate USB cables or one cable that can perform four different functions? If you answered one, then please learn about the Tegic Steelix Pro integrated cable, which is designed for use with your USB-C and Lightning gadgets. let’s see.

What is it?

The Tegic Steelix Pro USB cable is a multifunctional cable that can provide USB-C and Lightning devices with a maximum of 100W power transmission, 480 Mbps data transmission and four-in-one fast charging through a single cable.

What’s in the box?

Design and features

The Tegic Steelix Pro USB cable has a 1.5m long flat tangled cable with a braided nylon cover and a zinc alloy end.

Although it may look like an ordinary USB cable, Steelix is more than just appearance. First of all, it has a powerful industrial design that not only looks like something in cyberpunk comics, but actually feels as powerful as it looks.

One end is a USB-A connector, and the other end is a Lightning connector for Apple devices. But wait, there is more…

Pull up one end of the connector, there is a USB-C connector underneath. An unused connector will rotate when not in use, so it should not block any ports on other devices such as laptops.

The same is true on the other end of Steelix Pro with Lightning connector.

When you pull up the Lightning interface, another USB-C interface will be exposed.

The only missing connector is the micro USB connector. I know they are being phased out, but it is surprising how many new devices still use them. It would be great if Steelix comes with the other end that you can use as needed.

Tegic Steelix Pro provides 4 different ways to connect iOS, Android, tablets and laptops for charging and/or data transfer. see below.

You can also connect two devices (such as two mobile phones) to charge one of them. I tried this with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and Huawei P30 Pro. It turned the Huawei P30 Pro into a spare battery for charging the iPhone. According to Tegic, using this battery “sharing” method, the cable can charge the phone by 30% in 10 minutes.

what do I like

  • Can be used with USB-C and Lightning devices
  • Fast charging line
  • Powerful cable
  • Flat, tangled-free design

What will i change

  • $34 is a bit expensive via Tegic website
  • Also includes a micro USB option

Final thoughts

This is the strongest and most useful USB cable I have tested so far. I tested the Tegic Steelix Pro 4-in-1 USB data cable on iPhone 12 Pro Max, Airpods, MacBook, iPad Pro and other devices and found that it can quickly charge them. If it is possible to have a favorite USB cable, I have to say that Tegic Steelix Pro is mine.
