There was a sighting a few days ago, and some of them appeared at the MLK Memorial with Al Sharpton. You know, because in Texas, nothing can provoke support more than catching a notorious metropolitan racial scammer to push for the misconception that voting rights are cancelled, because early voting is only two weeks away.

If they try, they won’t be more deaf, trust me, as this stunt unfolds, they will definitely try. But as August approached and the prospect of another special meeting was approaching, these brave crusaders finally realized soberly– They are messed up.

Considering the actual situation, the word “do or die” does a lot of work here. Contrary to drama, what they are working on is a full federal takeover of the electoral system to prevent Texas from doing heinous things such as banning 24-hour voting and harvesting votes. Indeed, these are the civil rights leaders of our time.
As I wrote at the beginning of the whole stupid guessing game, these Texas Democrats have already participated in a chicken game they couldn’t win (see Texas Democrats decided to play a ridiculous chicken game they couldn’t win). What is the plan here? Stay in Washington for a month, then go home triumphantly? That will never happen. Instead, Abbott will continue to convene special meetings until the Glory Hounds decide to go home and complete the work required by law.
The bill for the people is dead. It does not meet the conditions of a settlement, and there is no last minute in the next few days to make it into law and somehow preempt the Texas legislature. Instead, these Texas Democrats are trapped. Are they really going to be away from their families for a few months to fight a battle they can’t win? The color makes me very suspicious.
The weaker the media coverage and the fact that it is almost non-existent, the less motivated to persevere knowing that they will fail anyway. I also guess that they have lost their welcome at this point. When having lunch with the vice president and visiting from Nancy Pelosi, everything was fun and game. The celebration is over, what’s next?
They obviously don’t know what will happen next. This is a case study, do not choose battles that you are not capable of completing. The Republicans of Texas hold an overwhelming majority in the state legislature. Whether these Texas Democrats like it or not, they have the right to pass their voter integrity bill. The longer this stupid behavior lasts, the more they will pay for it. The smart move is to put the tail away and go home. The arrest video will be a good fundraising tool.
