Although we have been reporting on people-Americans and allies-having to run into the airport to challenge the Taliban, the Biden team seems to refuse to really acknowledge the problem. Even CNN had to call them out in the chaos. They have been playing down or not talking about the Taliban.
Listen to Ned Price of the State Department using a unique term to describe the chaos of that challenge. “We know the congestion around the airport.”
The State Department’s message to the Americans stranded behind the Taliban line in Kabul was: “We know that the airport is crowded.”
Yes, “congestion” is the word they use. pic.twitter.com/2wt3pdzhtk

Well, we must reward them for the most unique understatement they can find. Also, talk about the deer in the appearance of the headlights-that is Ned Price. It seems that he doesn’t like his position now.
But I think you at least have to thank him for admitting “congestion”.
In the Biden administration, you may get worse. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said he believes there is no real problem with people entering the airport.
Brett Bayer told Biden’s Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby: “If the British can take their paratroopers, they can pick them up in cars, and then send them to the airport. Why can’t the United States do this?”

Fox’s Bret Baier asked if an agreement was reached with the Taliban to restrict US military access to the airport. Kirby denied.Bayer then asked them why they couldn’t Pick up the Americans like the British. Kirby had no real answer to this, responding that they did not see any major “obstacles” to people arriving at the airport.
Really? Did he not see what the rest of us saw? You can talk about the mission of protecting the airport. But if people can’t get in to the airport and the plane leaves in mid-air, what are you doing? Again, it seems that the Biden team did not live in reality and/or cover up some weird deals they made with the Taliban not to leave the airport grounds. That will explain Discord report The matter between British and American troops about the British going out to save people.
When Brett asked him if he thought the Taliban was an “enemy”, he watched him move around again to avoid speaking out.
Watch: Pentagon spokesman John Kirby refuses to call the Taliban an “enemy.”

So basically the message here is: we don’t want to go out to find Americans, or say something, because we might disturb the Taliban.
At the same time, some Americans and allies could not reach the airport, and John Kirby did not see the problem.
David Marshall Fox, an American who moved to Afghanistan in 2013, told the Washington Post on Thursday that he had given up hope of taking the evacuation flight, saying that his youngest son was not in danger of being shot by the Taliban or being trampled by the crowd. Worth it.
“My position now is that I feel very frustrated-because no one will drive them out before the Americans can control the gate,” Fox said.
He went to the airport on Wednesday, but was unable to get close to the U.S. military or even to show his passport.
“For me and my 3-year-old son, my U.S. passport, and the inability to pass the U.S. Marine Corps, I am 10 feet away from the U.S. Marine Corps-this is problematic,” Fox said.
