The Flash Movie – My Thoughts

It was worth the wait!

After 4 long years of waiting, The Flash movie is finally out and I was one of the lucky few to see it first in the Philippines during the Fan Movie screening. It’s definitely a first because there’s no end credits yet, so when it finally starts in theaters in the Philippines on June 14, 2023, and globally on June 16, 2023, I won’t mind watching it again again.

I’ve been asked what my favorite part of the movie is, and I honestly can’t say a single thing. There were so many memorable, commendable, and remarkable scenes that made me laugh a lot.

It was delightful and exciting to watch me clasp my hands, sit on the edge of my seat, and literally have a smile on my face that went from ear to ear!

The first 10 minutes of scenes are very engaging and well done, especially the opening “hero scene”. It’s fun and cool, like nothing you’ve ever seen before, and it’s impossible for The Flash to do it, but it’s possible.

So many cameos and surprises and twists, twists, so many twists that will blow your mind!

IMO, this is by far the best DC movie. seriously.

I’ll watch it again so I can see the ending, and yes, the ending is just as exciting!

The Flash movie information

Warner Bros. Pictures presents “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti (“IT” Films, “Mom”). Ezra Miller reprises his role as Barry Allen in the DC superhero’s first standalone feature film.

Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time to alter past events. But when his attempts to save his family inadvertently alter the future, Barry is drawn into a reality where General Zod returns, threatens destruction, and has no superheroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax an entirely different Batman into retiring and rescuing an imprisoned Kryptonian… though that’s not who he’s looking for. Ultimately, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life in order to save the world he’s in and return to the future he knows. But is making the ultimate sacrifice enough to reset the universe?

The “Flash” ensemble also includes rising stars Sasha Culler, Michael Shannon (“Bullet Train,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”), Ron Livingston (“Loud Milk”, “The Conjuring”), Maribel Verdu (“Elite, “Y tu mamá también”), Kiersey Clemons (“Zack Snyder’s Justice League”, “Sweetheart”), Antje Traue (“The King of Crows”, “Man of Steel”) and Michael Keaton (“Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Batman”).
