The media finally finished their work-don’t get used to it-RedState

Yesterday, the media actually did their job once. The White House reporters decided to temporarily suspend their behavior as left-wing activists so that they can engage in some good old-fashioned news reports at press conferences focusing on the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. In fact, members of the media raised some sharp questions to demand change, rather than the typical softball we are used to.

Curtis Houck of Newsbusters wrote an article article Throughout the incident, it was pointed out that “in the case of the collapse of Afghanistan, the White House press corps worked hard to raise sharp questions with the National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan and Press Secretary Jane Passaki.”

NPR’s Ayesha Rascoe took note of President Joe Biden’s remarks that “the responsibility has nothing to do with him” and asked him whether he “takes any responsibility” for “any bloodshed that may occur now”.

Another reporter asked:

What is President Biden’s response to the Afghan people who are now under the control of Taliban terrorists and feel abandoned by the United States, or to people in Taiwan and other places who are worried that the United States will abandon them to Chinese aggressors? In response, what is President Biden’s response to people in Israel and other countries? They may also think that the United States will hand them over to terrorists?

CBS’s Jiang Weijia also interjected and asked Sullivan whether the US military would stay in Afghanistan after August 31 if the Americans and Afghan allies were still trapped in Kabul. The consultant replied that he would not “comment on the hypothesis” and that he would “focus on the task at hand and get as many people away as possible as soon as possible.”

But other reporters have not let Sullivan go so easily. Philip Wegmann of Real Clear Politics responded to Jiang Zemin’s initial question, asking whether the US government is committed to “ensure that any Americans currently in Afghanistan leave.”

Sullivan responded with another subtle dodge:

This is what we are doing now. We have asked all of them to come to the airport to board the plane and take them home. This is what we intend to do.

An unidentified female reporter working with Sky News continued to pressure the adviser to ask if he could confirm whether the US military would ensure that the Americans and Afghan allies were rescued even after the August 31 deadline. Another proposed Christian missionaries who might be in danger due to religion, and pressured Sullivan to ask whether these people would be rescued.

Sullivan replied:

We are working with various different types of groups, journalists, aid workers, NGO workers, etc. to help them leave the country.

The national security adviser never really said whether the United States will save the Americans and Afghan allies in 31 years.Yingshi.

This is just a small part of the questions asked to Sullivan and Psaki. Although I criticize the media, I have to say that they are doing a good job here.

However, this should not be taken as a sign that these people will continue along these routes. Remember, most of these people are still left-wing radicals, which is why I call them “radical media.”

Now, it is very obvious that the Biden administration’s handling of this matter has been impaired by its iconic incompetence. In short, there is no way to turn this SNAFU into a disaster without being arrogant. The lies of the media must at least have a certain degree of factual basis, otherwise, the deception will not succeed.

As far as Afghanistan is concerned, it cannot be concluded that the troop withdrawal is progressing smoothly. Therefore, it is in the best interest of radical media to play directly on this issue. Once this crisis passes, they will resume their functions as the government propaganda department.
