We use today to celebrate the birth of our country, realize its particularity and uniqueness in world history, and how free it is a beacon of freedom.
“In order to support this declaration, we firmly rely on the protection of providence, and we pledge to each other our lives, our wealth and our sacred honor.”
In Congress, July 4, 1776-Rossi Memo (@almostjingo) July 4, 2021
But everything around us today also reminds us that our country and our freedom are constantly under attack.
Ronald Reagan reminds us how precious freedom is, but also reminds us How could it be easily lost.
Maybe you and I have lived too long in this miracle to appreciate it properly.
Freedom is a fragile thing, it is only a generation away from extinction.
It does not belong to us through inheritance; it must be continuously fought and defended by each generation, because it is only once for a nation. Those in the history of the world who knew freedom and then lost it never knew it again.
Now we see that some Americans don’t seem to understand this anymore. They are actively working to destroy these freedoms from within. They want to impose on us the oppressive dogma that killed millions of people around the world.
We see that Americans know nothing about our history and are taught to believe that our roots as a nation are evil, rather than understanding how we as a nation become the light of the world.
We think that the Americans who attack our nation’s symbols are bad in a way, not uniform. This is how we got articles like the New York Times on this special holiday, saying that the national flag is a symbol of division.
Today, flying the American flag from the back of a pickup truck or on the lawn is increasingly seen as a clue, although not perfect, for a person’s political faction in a severely divided country. https://t.co/TODmHEmPsO

“Today, hoisting the American flag from the back of a pickup truck or on the lawn is increasingly seen as a clue. Although not perfect, it is a clue to a person’s political faction in a severely divided country,” The Times tweeted To promote their story, “July 4th, a symbol of unity, may no longer be united.”
Then the story quoted some people saying that they were reluctant to fly the national flag because they thought it would agree with President Donald Trump or conservatives in general.
“It used to be a symbol of unity-after all, every state has a star-now it has become alienated to some people, and its stripes are now people who kneel and do not act during the “Stars and Stripes” broadcast. It is an insult to swear allegiance to the fault line between his kneeling people,” Neal wrote.
“It makes the celebration of July 4th, patriotic bunting and blueberry and strawberry cake arranged into old glory, into another crack in a country, in a country that no longer seems so indivisible, under a flag threatening to wear out,” She continued.
The “problem” is not the national flag. The national flag is the same. If they think it was cancelled by someone else they don’t like, then they never really understood it and may not drive it in the first place. My love for the country does not depend on the ideas of my neighbors. If it is yours, then the problem is not your neighbor—it’s yours.
This was after Mara Gay, a member of the editorial board of The New York Times, attacked the American flag. Called it “disturbing. “The Times’ response? To Support what she said.
“The New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay’s comments on MSNBC were irresponsibly taken out of context. Her argument was that Trump and many of his supporters politicized the American flag. To her today The attack was unknowing and was motivated by malicious intent.”
Prior to this, in 2016, the Times published a headline: “Is the national anthem racist? Beyond the debate about Colin Kaepernick.”
How many people really feel this way and agree with it? Not most Americans, yes, there is still no problem with people flying the national flag on their lawn. Most Americans love and respect this country, whether they fly the national flag or not. However, there are enough people who control our government, media, and academic institutions who want to continue to promote and create this division. That’s why we must hear Reagan’s voice, fight for it and constantly defend it, screaming whenever we see these attacks.
The American flag 🇺🇸 represents our love for this country and constantly reminds us of our freedom.
Don’t let the media use it as a tool of division, it is not.

When you hate Trump so much, you will now find that the American flag is “alienated.” https://t.co/n2LPKG1sEC

New York Times reporters should try to live in Gaza-they don’t appreciate the freedom they enjoy every day. https://t.co/ve1no9Y2t3

This @New York Times After years of cruelly and anti-socially amplifying and monetizing partisan prejudices, now you suddenly worry about how the country is “seriously divided”?
You are divided. A reporter like you.
