Major General Hank Taylor said he can now confirm that “two high-profile Islamic State targets were killed and one injured. We know that there are zero civilian casualties.”
“They lost a planner, they lost a coordinator, and one person was injured. In fact, two of them no longer walk on the surface of the earth, which is a good thing,” Said Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.
But they refused to disclose the names of the killed or provide any further details.
