The protests first started on July 3, and almost a week later, a customer of Wi Spa complained on Instagram that a transgender woman “right in front of young girls, teenagers and adult women” took off her clothes and exposed her genitals. In this incident, two people were stabbed.
The spa issued a statement explaining that it “complied with California’s laws prohibiting corporate discrimination” and “does not tolerate harassment or indecent behavior by any customer, regardless of gender, gender, or other characteristics.”
Considering that it happened in Los Angeles, this story shouldn’t come as a surprise. It is reasonable to expect this to happen when people use facilities that match the gender they identify.
However, it is worth noting that the person’s statement is questionable.
