DThe Lower Saxony-Bremen Regional Social Court rejected the appeal of a man who wished to be 102 years old and requested a pension. According to the insurance account of Deutsche Rentenversicherung, he is only 48 years old. Judge Uwe Dreyer said on Friday that the declarative lawsuit in this case was “not acceptable at all” to support the reasoning of the Celle District Social Court. He accused the man from the Stade district of wanting to proceed with a lawsuit, possibly a criminal offence: “I think it is obvious that we are not dealing with a 102-year-old man.”
According to the court, the man was a full-time administrative clerk in Ystad district. He submitted an affidavit and a “birth certificate” written by himself. In his opinion, the German pension insurance data is wrong. 1973 is not the year of his birth, when he would rather have an accident in Ystad.
According to the court, the man suffered from spastic paralysis and claimed to be born in Hanover in 1919. He has to bear the cost of the operation of 1,000 euros. Modifications are not allowed.
