It seems that whenever there is an “error” in the “facts” about the Wuhan coronavirus, the error always seems to encourage COVID fear of pornography.
For example, just in the past day or so, we saw the CDC Must basically admit The number of new COVID cases in Florida they released last Sunday was inaccurate. The reason is not yet clear, but of course, it increased the number so that it was almost twice the actual number. This gave the Democrats ammunition and then attacked Republican Governor Ron DeSantis. Then we saw the CDC claim that the new Delta variant is as contagious as chickenpox It was exposed as fake. The media spread false claims once again, which is even more frightening.
Now there is another error, this error comes from the Texas Tribune.
Tribune Claim today There has been a surge in children receiving COVID-19 treatment in hospitals. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the report stated that more than 5,800 children were hospitalized within 7 days in August.
Now, anyone who sees this should think that the number of children who are suddenly hospitalized within 7 days-when the children are actually at a lower risk-is meaningless.
But people like Jennifer Rubin think illogically. This is all because of those terrible “death worship” Republicans in Texas. This allows the Democrats/media to be as angry with the Texans as they did with DeSantis in Florida.
Unreasonable: In the 7 days ending August 8th, more than 5,800 children in Texas were newly admitted to hospital due to COVID-19, an increase of 37% from a week ago. Where is the pro-life movement? It’s death worship now https://t.co/PzbNk1t4LS pass @TexasTribune

Of course, as the “Tribune” had to admit later, the numbers in one week were completely wrong. They added a correction to their story, which is a very important correction-the number of 5800 is for the entire pandemic, not within a week.
This is a big correction. https://t.co/UBBgV0OXXm pic.twitter.com/uhxkYABwR3

“An early version of this story exaggerated the number of children recently hospitalized with COVID-19 in Texas. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the report stated that there were more than 5,800 children in 7 days in August Hospitalization. This number correctly refers to children hospitalized with COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. In fact, between July 1 and August 9 this year, 783 children were sent to Dirk for COVID-19 Saskatchewan Hospital.”
I’ll do the math here.
Claim: 828 hospitalizations per day
Reality: 19 per day
Only closed about 43 times.

But the lie disappeared, and people were angry with the Republican politicians in Texas. Jen Rubin’s false tweets still exist, and those who spread lies do not care about correcting themselves. When it serves your political purpose, who cares if it is obviously wrong?
