The University of Colorado organizes teacher training to combat the “white supremacy” of “productivity”-RedState

Are you a perfectionist?

Do you have a sense of urgency?

If so, I have terrible news.

This inspiration comes from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

The school recently held a seminar on fair employment in the classroom for teachers and graduate students.

Fair Teacher Conference Official website Define “awareness of fairness”:

Practitioners’ views, viewpoints, or ways of thinking call for attention to the inequality patterns in student performance and are willing to take personal and institutional responsibilities for eliminating inequality.

It sounds like the teacher-not the student-is responsible for the student’s performance.

If so, it is a change from the old way.

Then again, fairness is a major disagreement on equality in the United States, and change will bring about change.

Campus reform According to reports, it obtained slides from a training section of UC-Boulder called “Anti-racism pedagogy and classroom decolonization.”

This market segment shines across the country The increasingly common “C”:

Settler colonialism is fundamentally dependent on an invisible logic. In particular, I did not see the land of the indigenous peoples to allow them to take over colonial control, but did not see how anti-immigration xenophobia, white supremacy, and settler colonialism promote each other.

Popular examples of this concept:

Seattle told its white teachers to “bankrupt” their privileges and admitted their “stolen inheritance”

Cornell University announced during the beginning of the term that it was on stolen land and would not start returning

Every Seminar: related to decolonization, and Whiteness, masculinity, And Western civilization:

Criticism of the invisible and rational focus of the education system (Western white masculine).

Why do you want to send such a message? Perhaps this will be answered by future historians.

At the same time, UC-B hopes that those hosting the students will “help [them] Be aware of the assumptions and standards of the body as part of colonial training (appropriate body, attractive body, body as a meaning/moral indicator). “

The seminar delved into social justice.

This approach sounds a bit like authorization, but it also aims to make everyone “mentally safe”:

  • Social justice includes a social vision in which the distribution of resources is fair and all members are physically and mentally safe and secure.
  • Some experts define social justice teaching as a belief that emphasizes moral values, care and respect.
  • Everyone in a just society will be able to develop and exercise their intellectual, social, emotional and expressive skills.
  • In a just society, everyone affected by the decision will participate in the decision.

If the teachers really want to blame it on colonialism, they will preach it productivity.

Singing a song is a good substitute:

  • Resist colonial and neoliberal coercion surrounding time and productivity
  • Consider flexible deadlines; provide multiple options for deadlines (for example, more than a week)
  • Consider suspending penalties for late arrivals-prioritize full participation over timely
  • Slow down the hurried pace of higher education through free writing, guided meditation or songs related to the subject of the class
  • Openly discuss the impact of time scarcity on the learning process
  • Help students realize the colonial ethics surrounding the use of time (value = productivity)

here it is you Come in.

All the above reasons are the opposite of fairness (which seems to be basically similar to communism)… cruelly KKK style.

From the file:

The cultural norms of white supremacy:

  • Perfectionism (are students encouraged to adopt a productive failure model?)
  • A sense of urgency (is there a culture of pressure decision-making?)
  • Quantity beats quality
  • Individualism

Of course, such a statement is nothing new.

Just like “The Path to Fair Mathematics Teaching: Eliminating Racism in Mathematics Teaching“—— Used by the Oregon Department of Education Elimination of whiteness-the characteristics (partially) of the Caucasus disaster are as follows:

  • perfectionism
  • Sense of urgency
  • Quantity beats quality
  • Worship text
  • There is only one correct way
  • Paternalism
  • Either/think
  • Electricity hoarding
  • Individualism
  • objectivity

Back to teachers who are responsible for student performance: If students are allowed to prioritize productivity, maybe they can get good grades through their performance.

For now, this idea seems to be falling out of favor.

Not coincidentally, the whiteness is also set to diminish:

The school district organizes a one-year anti-white training to combat “curriculum violence” in mathematics

Federal employees receive anti-racism training, including the lesson that “almost all white people” can promote racism

The professor announces the list of the “whitest law schools” in the United States and proposes to stop testing to eliminate “too many whites”

The new research laboratory at Stanford University points out the causes of the “racial hierarchy” in the United States: public education and ostensibly elite rule

The University of California looks at the “radical” BIPOC honors program based on fairness rather than performance

This is a new day and a new way to accomplish things.

The outdated method seems to work well; but it turns out that this is a complete trick:

So entering this world is neither objective nor productive.

Thank you for your equity.
