Sometimes things are magical. In Tennessee, a school found a solution to such problems.
The University of Tennessee’s Knoxville School of Social Work will host an “anti-racism” workshop this month, and officials have made it clear that some people may find Abracadabra’s wonderful state: the absence of whites.
The academy uses a 1940s style separation: Participants will be divided according to white and non-white.
White people are assigned to the “white responsibility group.”

We are happy to welcome you to the School of Social Work and invite you to participate in our work to achieve inclusive excellence. In order to complete this work, we must also resolve the internal barriers that prevent us from fully participating and continue to reimagine our personal role in the effort to create a more inclusive/fair workplace. … The White Responsibility Group (WAG) is an important mechanism for people who consider themselves white and/or have white skin privileges to do their own work.
White participants must differentiate themselves:
WAGs provide individuals with an environment and intention for them to truly and critically participate in white, white privileges, and hold each other accountable for change.
The training will inspire light learners “how to recognize BaiDu with White privilege, To identify and interrupt the inner dominance, and jointly develop strategies for liberation and change. “
On the other side of the isolation channel is the “BIMPoC (Black, Aboriginal, Multi-ethnic and Colored People) Affinity Group”.

Although white groups will bear the responsibility for oppression, the people of BIMPoC will gather the support of those who are not pale in color:
Black, Aboriginal, Multi-Ethnic and Colored People (BIMPoC) kinship is a group of people with common interests, backgrounds, and experiences who come together to support each other. … The BIMPoC team will provide a safe and supportive place to name issues and define or redefine issues.
Hocus Pocus:
In a predominantly white institution, the affinity groups of blacks, aboriginals, and people of color may be magical places.
Race-based “anti-racism” groups are nothing new-Carleton College in Minnesota Use them.

May, I cover A story about Kate Slater, a professor at Brandeis University. What she calls “racial justice scholars and educators” Place, “Lead the promotion, training, and intimate groups with K-12 institutions and universities.”
Kate took a strange ironic position:
“[I] I am a white woman. …I don’t believe that white people can become experts in race and racism. I don’t think we can be experts in what we have formulated and what we have experienced. …The white man now needs to sit down and shut up. “

With regard to the divisions caused by oppression and victimization, the direction of academia seems clear:

As for magic, in recent decades, society has not considered the presence or absence of pigments to be so fascinating.
In fact, it is quite the opposite: our old version of magic…is unified.
At present, many existing forces seem to be less interested in this witchcraft.
As we move away from unity—nationality, politics, and race—I can’t help but wonder if there is something far from magical.
