Review -Although I am smiling in this photo, I hate doing housework. I would rather work in the yard at a temperature of 100 degrees than I would dust, mop the floor and clean the bathroom. I’m always looking for something that can make housework easier. We recently moved into a new home with a large shower area. The thought of scrubbing the floor with my hands and knees made me cringe. Tiswall electric rotating scrubber promises to keep you off the floor, making it easier to scrub tiles, tires, rims, and even toilets. Let us see how it works.
What is it?
Tilswall electric rotary scrubber (hereinafter referred to as scrubber) is a wireless rechargeable rotary scrubber with multiple brush attachments. It can be used on almost any surface, such as tiles, glass, tire rims, toilets, etc.
What’s in the box?

I took a picture of everything in the box. Everything is well packaged. If you don’t have a good place to put the scrubber and brush, I think this will be a good place to store the scrubber and brush. Before storing, I will make sure that the brush is dry.

Design and features
As mentioned above, the scrubber has an arm that will extend from 27.6 inches to 43.6 inches when you press the two buttons on the side. The image below shows the arm fully extended.

The head can be rotated 80 degrees from a straight line with the handle. The head rotation is very stiff. When it is flush with the handle, it will snap into place. I found that placing the head at the angle I wish it meant it would stay in place. It doesn’t shake at all. It feels heavy and it has never slipped over my body. The entire scrubber feels very sturdy and weighs about 878 grams.

I took a picture, showing the head lying completely flat, even lying flat with the handle.

There is a triangle at the bottom of the scrubber, which is used to connect various scrubbing heads.

This is a picture of the bottom of the scrub head. Since the scrubber does not have a lock to keep the rotation locked in place, you must quickly twist to the right (when you face the brush) to lock it in place, and then quickly twist to the left to remove it. This made me a little uncomfortable at first. I can easily connect the head. When it was time to remove it, I slowly twisted it so that only the entire brush and the locking mechanism turned to the left. As soon as I turned quickly to the left, it left immediately.

The image below shows one of the two buttons on the top of the handle. Squeezing these two rubber buttons allows you to extend the top of the handle to 43.3 inches.

On the top of the retractable handle, you will find the power button and three small LED lights to display the battery level.

When all three are lit, the scrubber is fully charged.

set up
The setup is very simple. Below the top of the handle behind the power button is the micro USB charging port. It is covered by a silicone cover to help protect the device from water damage. I did notice that it has no IPX waterproof rating at all. The instructions do say not to immerse the device in water.

The silicone cover is fixed on the scrubber head by a small lanyard. I think this is a great feature because I have lost a lot of these rubber sleeves on several devices in the past few years. I think they have disappeared in my dog’s belly!

Performance
This is a photo of the above shower. You can see that there are a lot of tiles to be cleaned.

I asked my husband to take this photo to show you that I can keep the scrubber in the washing position without bending over. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall and have an inseam about 32 inches. My elbow bends badly. I believe people who are a few inches tall will have no problem. Now, holding it like this while the scrubber is actually running is another problem entirely!

I took a few close-up photos of our tiles. The grout should be light gray, with several dark and almost black areas on the tiles. Our house construction experience in the past year was not perfect. I think sometimes they get them to do the job by finding people who are willing to do the job, without worrying about their skills. Looking closely at some dark areas, I found that we actually lack or almost no grout in some places. I know this scrubber will not solve this problem, but there are some other dark areas that can be cleaned.

This is a video of the scrubber running. You can see how it slides to the left. Holding it with one hand did not give me the control I wanted. I ended up having to hold it with two hands and bend it slightly to put some pressure on the brush. It has only one speed. I believe it is sufficient for most of your cleaning work. I applied some very heavy pressure in an area where I knew we had dirty grout and the scrubber never slowed down. It continues to work normally.
Since our house is only six months old, I found that all the black grout areas I photographed were bad grout. These areas were there when we moved in, and now our builders have an unresolved problem to solve them. I found that the scrubber did an excellent job of scrubbing tiles and grout. Before I used the scrubber, I had a small spot that could not be removed from the tiles. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of it beforehand. It is actually a black spot. The vacuum cleaner took it apart! My husband commented that he thought the tiles looked much cleaner than before, but any photos I took after it dried showed no real difference.
I can say that it only took me about 20 minutes to clean the tile floor and shower wall with the scrubber, while it took me an hour and a half for my hands and knees. I also feel that the scrubber allows me to pass through the area multiple times because it is so easy to do.
what do I like
- Very strong and well-structured
- Charge for a long time.20 minutes of use did not even cause any impact on battery charging
- It comes with 5 different brush heads.
- The rotation is strong, you can apply pressure to the brush and it still rotates very well
Areas for improvement
- A button is needed to lock the mounting head in place to remove the brush in line with other rotating equipment (such as drill bits).
- It would be great if the scrubber was longer. I will make the base longer. I still had to bend over with both hands to hold the scrubber in place when using it.
Final thoughts
I really like Tilswall electric brushes. I doubt it is strong enough to withstand the kind of pressure I want to put on the brush and it does a good job. It has a long battery life and is equipped with multiple brushes. This really makes my job of cleaning bathroom shower tiles easier than before, and it takes less time.
