Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) just wrote a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, and you can inject it into my veins. This is what Congress must do: follow up, and then hold these figures in the Biden administration accountable.

The Ministry of Justice observes rules and regulations when investigating members of the news media. The regulation stipulates that the Department of Justice “reviewed the use of certain law enforcement tools, including … search warrants seeking information or records from members of the news media without consent, as an extraordinary measure rather than standard investigative practices.”
Given that the execution of these search warrants is not a “standard investigative practice”, I am concerned about the origin of this investigation, the motive of the investigation, and the strategy used by your department.
So why did the FBI take this route when they could ask for information when the reporter was abnormal and Garland had publicly opposed this compulsory procedure before?
Then, the Justice Department is trying to prove that these raids were in response to Ashley Biden’s stolen diary. The question for many people is: What legal basis do they have when they take this type of federal action to hunt Project Veritas as the journalist who received the diary?

This is a wonderful letter from Cotton, it shows that he understands-spades. But after that action must be taken to solve the conspiracy here, punish them, and prevent them from doing so again. We need to fill the House and Senate with people who are willing to take action so that we can ensure this banana republic action against Biden and the Democrats.
