design
The exterior of the C2 is made of smooth plastic, so in my opinion they are very smooth. This means they slip out of my hands easily, and they slip out of my ears easily, which is not good. (More on that later) Tribit says that C2 is “semi-in-ear”, which means that they don’t provide a “seal” like other earplugs, they just hang in your ears. This means that you will not hear deep bass in the music because there is a space between the ear canal and the speakers. But on the other hand, this means that you will be able to hear the background noise and sounds around you, which in some cases you will find it beneficial. Another advantage is that for most people, the ears are less fatigued and they can be worn longer every day. C2 is very light, and I occasionally forget to have them in my ears.
Features and performance
C2s uses a touch interface to control everything. I have used many types of earbuds with touch controls. My biggest complaint in the past was that stray touches can cause problems. For example, when you try to adjust the earbuds in your ears, you have to touch the earbuds (uh). With a touch interface, this means you can perform actions you don’t want, such as hanging up the phone or playing music. With C2, they solved this problem and eliminated the ability to do anything with a single touch. You must tap or hold the earbud multiple times to complete any operation. Therefore, it is good to adjust the earbuds at will without messing up anything. My only complaint about the touch control is that to close any earbud, you must hold it down for 10 seconds. I realize this sounds trivial, but in my opinion 10 seconds is too long, and it feels like it takes forever.
All earplugs now come with a charging case, and the uniqueness of the charging case that comes with Flybuds is that when you put the charging case in front of you and want to put the C2 back in the charging case, you need to take out the left earbud and remove it. It is placed on the right side of the protective case, for the right earplug, and vice versa. Before you get used to it, it’s a bit awkward. There is an indicator light on the front of the shell to show the remaining power. What I should mention is that when you open the case, it activates the earbuds, and when you close the case, it closes the earbuds. As long as you know this, it’s no big deal. So if you are playing music and remove the earbuds and put it back in the case, the music will continue to play in the earbuds until you close the case. In any case, this will not disrupt the transaction, but it is good to know. However, it would be better if the music stops when you remove the earplugs, which of course will increase the cost. I think this is a way for Tribit to save money.
The sound of C2s is good. Because of the way they are just hanging around my ears, I have never heard deep bass or clear treble in music. It’s not terrible, but if thoroughly enjoying music is your main goal here, then I don’t think C2 will make you happy. I have used them many times to walk the dog, but we live by a very busy highway. The noise of the car makes listening to music difficult because, as I mentioned before, my ears are not tightly sealed. So now when I walk my dog and want to listen to music, I use other earplugs that are more tightly sealed.
Calling is another matter. The everyday Bluetooth headset I have used and owned for many years is the Plantronics Voyager over-ear headset. But in my test comparing it to C2, the person I called told me that C2 sounded clearer. I was surprised by this. But perhaps a clear sign of Tribit’s goal of C2 is that they are equipped with CVC (Clear Voice Capture) technology, designed to help the person on the other end of your call hear your voice better, rather than Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) Technology is designed to improve your listening experience. This is a subtle difference, but it is an obvious difference.
Finally, my biggest complaint is a big problem for me. I have forgotten the number of times C2 fell from my ears. Now, I can see people everywhere, and I mean there are people everywhere using this earplug design. My guess is that if everyone likes this type of design like me, then I won’t see them as commonly as I do. Maybe this is the shape of my ears, but no matter what I do, things in my ears will often fall out. But perhaps the fact that C2 is made of smooth plastic and is very smooth contributed to this. I sat at the desk and worked all day, with C2 hanging in my ears, and the natural movement of sitting on the office chair at the desk, moving back and forth, caused C2 to drop my head at least six times or even just a little bit. tilt. very bothersome. I will never try to engage in any outdoor activities that require a lot of exercise, let alone running in them. For example, walking a dog is also a challenge. When I bend over to use a dog bag, I often have to catch the earplugs that fall out of my ears.
what do I like
- The charging box is quite fast
- Excellent call sound quality
What will i change
- Press and hold for 10 seconds to turn off the earbuds for too long.
- When I remove the earplugs from my ears, I want the music to pause
- Change the type of material used outside to make it less smooth
Final thoughts
For wireless earplugs, you have a variety of options, and there are many different shapes. It seems that everyone is fascinated by the unique shape of Apple and the slender earplugs that hang down from the ears. But for me, unless the earplugs have a way to fit my ears, I don’t particularly care. The price of 80 dollars is good, the sound is good, the fast charging speed is very good, and the listening time is all day. Also, if your main purpose is to make a phone call, then you might like C2. But enthusiasts may not like C2. For me, these earplugs are probably in the drawer most of the time, as a spare when I need it.
