Last year, a famous video went viral on the Internet. The video showed two little boys bumping into each other and then hugging each other. One is black and the other is white.
Carpe Donktum, the emoji maker who supports Trump, whose real name is Logan Cook, used it to create an interesting emoji, using chyron to simulate CNN’s news stories, which read: [sic] Fleeing the racist babies”, then “the racist babies may be Trump voters”, and then “what actually happened. The toddlers ran and hugged each other. It faded to black. Then the next thing was, “America is not a problem…Fake news is.” If you see something, just say something. Only you can prevent fake news from trash can fires. “

The point is to satirize how CNN makes everything racist and provides fake news.
President Donald Trump posted a video version of the meme on Twitter and attracted a lot of attention.
This triggered a lawsuit against Cook and Trump, accusing them of misappropriating the video. Twitter also labeled it as “manipulated media.” Both Facebook and Twitter deleted the video, and Cook was removed from Twitter for “copyright infringement.”
Now it goes without saying that this is a reckless lawsuit, especially a lawsuit against Trump for simply forwarding a parody video.
Fortunately, Cook’s lawyer Ron Coleman announced that today’s case against Cook and Trump was dismissed.
Today, the New York Supreme Court dismissed the “toddler meme” lawsuit against our client Carpe Donktum (Logan Cook) for “misappropriation” https://t.co/t2xctagjge

Cook issued a statement about his victory, asked Twitter when he could restore his account, and admitted that they would never return it to him.

This is a huge victory, but this is a case that shouldn’t be started. Taking into account all other parody/memes and other similar content on Twitter, this is more proof of the prejudice against conservatives on Twitter because they led Cook from the website. Why is he this person? Because he is very popular and supports Trump, this is not allowed. The person on the left allows all kinds of harmful things. Is that what makes Twitter sneer at it? crazy.
But at least this victory proves that there is still some law and common sense in the courts.
Donktum and Trump win, Michael Avenati Cry and get time. This is a good week.
