So far, I am very impressed with the Twinkly product line.They have grown from their excellent Christmas tree skewers Lamps enter more mainstream product ranges such as LED strips and Twinkly Flex.
as CES 2022, the company has now launched another product that is suitable for year-round use but still suitable for festive festivities.
Twinkly Dots claims to be the first app-controlled LED light string on the market with a miniaturized design that eliminates the bulky profile of traditional LED light strings. Matte light bulbs can diffuse 16 million colors in 360 degrees and can be wrapped around anything or glued to surfaces with a pad. Thanks to the almost invisible wires, the product is very light, flexible and discreet.
Unlike other Twinkly product lines, the Dot is powered by USB, giving you more flexibility in installation.
In each Dots pack, you’ll get 2x 2.5m LED strings, each with 200 addressable LEDs capable of displaying over 16 million colors. The LEDs are IP44 rated, making them suitable for outdoor use.
Twinkly Dots will be available in stores and online in the first quarter of 2022. The press release did not specify pricing.

Twinkly Dots are the first app-controlled LED light strings on the market, featuring a proprietary miniaturized design that eliminates the bulky form factor of traditional LED light strings. Combining the versatility of classic LED string lights with the sophisticated look and feel of premium interior lighting, Twinkly Dots enters a new realm of home lighting. Points can be controlled via an app and a voice-activated digital assistant. Dots are available in 33′ (200 RGB lights) or 66′ (400 RGB lights) light-emitting lengths and feature 0.28″ LED lights, specially designed with a flat matte head for impressive brightness levels and perfect hues . (USB version has 60 LEDs.)

Easily configured via WiFi and Bluetooth, Twinkly Dots are controlled using the free Twinkly app, available for iOS and Android. The Twinkly app lets everyone generate custom lighting design rigs thanks to a wide range of pre-made effects and animations, as well as the ability to create custom effects from scratch using the FX Wizard creation tool. Twinkly Dots can even be combined with other Twinkly RGB gear to create larger synchronized lighting installations.

Twinkly Dots can be seamlessly controlled via assistants like Hey Google and Amazon Alexa, as well as Apple HomeKit via Twinkly Chroma Connector, Homey, Razer ChromaTM RGB and OMEN Light Studio on the OMEN Gaming Hub to enhance the gaming experience with stunning lighting The effect that your gameplay reacts to. The dots are suitable for indoor and outdoor use (rated IP44) and come with black or white cords.
Twinkly’s proprietary computer vision enables users to map the exact location of each LED in space and control their installation like an LED screen. Other award-winning features include the ability to combine multiple devices, download and create visual effects, and integration with key vocal assistants.
