The White House said on Wednesday that the United States is evaluating an overnight “tragic attack” on the President of Haiti, and President Joe Biden will be briefed on the assassination.
“We are still gathering information,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on MSNBC. “We are still evaluating.”
The President of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, was shot and killed by an unidentified attacker in his private home overnight.
