Design and Features
I often have issues with my jacket when I’m out photographing in the winter. It usually takes a lot of walking to get to where I want to go, hence the overheating. However, when I got there, I stood still for a long time, so I felt cold.
Since I already carry a tripod and camera bag, wearing or carrying an oversized jacket is usually not an option. Other than that, I never know when I’ll stop to hunt for wildlife, so putting on and taking off a jacket is often counterproductive.

into the heating jacket. The Venustas Men’s 3-in-1 Heated Jacket solves this problem in two ways. First, it has a removable outer waterproof shell and heated inner fleece jacket. It doesn’t over-insulate, so it’s easier to stay cool while exercising. Second, when you need to warm up, a quick flick of a switch turns on the graphene heating element.
Graphene heating elements are placed on the left and right chest, left and right shoulders, and mid-back. Graphene is stronger than diamond and is thin, strong and flexible. It has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.

Press and hold the button on the upper left neckline area for 3-5 seconds to open the jacket. After 5 minutes of preheating, the jacket automatically goes into medium mode. Press the button for 1 second to cycle through the heating mode. After about 30 seconds, you will start to feel the jacket heat up.

I found that the hood extended a bit above my forehead, although having a hat under it wouldn’t be so bad. The hood is also removable, which is nice because I don’t want to have one.

The battery also has a 2.1A USB-A port, which can be used to charge devices like phones. This feature can come in handy when you forget to charge your phone or smart device before heading out. The battery can also be charged in 5 to 6 hours via the Type-C port. A convenient LCD battery level indicator ensures you always know how much power is left. The power button on the battery pack is only required when using the battery pack to charge the device when the jacket is not heating.
I chose XL based on the website size chart, but if you make the wrong choice, Venustas has a 30-day money-back and 60-day exchange policy.

what do I like

final thoughts
Overall, I really like the Venustas Men’s 3-in-1 Heated Jacket. The hood is the only thing I don’t like. The jacket heats up quickly and provides some critically acclaimed heat when out and about this winter.
