Verstappen criticizes Hamilton after the accident

NIn his Formula One car with Lewis Hamilton World Cup leader Max Verstappen has left the hospital in Silverstone. “I was discharged from the hospital after all examinations were okay. Thank you for all the good news and best wishes,” the Dutchman wrote on Twitter late Sunday. He also posted a photo of himself and his father, Jos Verstappen.

A few hours ago, the Red Bull driver at the hospital had already spoken out and made a sharp criticism of Hamilton. “I’m glad I’m fine. I’m disappointed that I was eliminated like this,” he wrote on social media after his early retirement at the British Grand Prix.

“The given penalty did not help us in any way, nor did we make a fair judgment on the dangerous move Lewis made on the track. It is disrespectful and unsportsmanlike to watch the celebrations in the hospital, but we will continue Go forward,” he added. The red bull cart finger is a scene of enthusiastic cheers. Hamilton scored his first victory in ten weeks at home, thus preserving his chance to participate in the world championship battle.

Verstappen and Hamilton had already touched their wheels after a lap in a duel at the Copse corner. The world championship title lost control and slammed the car into a pile of tires. Hamilton was fined 10 seconds for this action, but later won the Grand Prix. The Englishman reduced his disadvantage in the World Cup to 8 points.

After the accident, Verstappen was obviously seriously injured. As a precautionary measure, he was taken to a nearby hospital for further examination. “There is always the possibility of a concussion, so we always keep this in mind,” said Ian Roberts, head of the Formula One medical emergency team. As his team owner Christian Horner said, Verstappen hit the tire wall with 51G.
