Review – Victrola once again joined the ranks of “World No. 1”, injecting its long history of vinyl into 21st century equipment: Revolution GO portable rechargeable turntable. Let’s have it!

Design and features
Revolution GO is the first record player that supports Bluetooth and rechargeable batteries. Therefore, it is almost the lightest, most feature-rich and most portable player you can get.
In terms of appearance, GO is very basic, with black plastic on almost every surface. It keeps the player stylish and durable. The most interesting aspect of the device is the large LED surround volume knob that doubles as the power button.
The operation is the same whether it is plugged in or running on a rechargeable battery. Long press the loud volume knob to turn on, and press the knob to switch the playback mode.
Revolution GO has multiple modes: standard turntable, Bluetooth speaker mode and streaming media recording mode, where you can use the turntable and transmit the sound to a separate (possibly larger) Bluetooth speaker.
It also includes a 1/8-inch headphone port for private listening and RCA output for connecting larger speakers.
The cover is detachable and can be used to display your records, and can hold multiple single and double albums.
Most notably, Revolution GO has an integrated speaker and rechargeable battery for truly portable vinyl record playback. This integrated speaker sounds great, and it’s loud. It can handle record playback and Bluetooth connected devices well. I will put the sound quality in other portable Bluetooth speakers I have heard, which is slightly insufficient at the low end of the spectrum.
I have a few albums for test playback, they sound good, especially remastered Beatles Abbey Road My wife picked it up recently. Putting an album without any skips, repetitions or shuffles has a certain cathartic experience. You only need to forget the artistic imagination of an artist, that is, a small breakthrough that breaks the record.
GO’s record playback function seems pretty standard. There is a lever to gently place the arm and needle on the rotating record. There are 3 standard speeds for different record sizes (I don’t have any 45 or 78 for testing, but these options are there.) And the needles are easy to replace when they wear out, which is good.
The rechargeable battery added to power the GO function is unique. You can move the player to every corner of the house, on the back or backsplash, or use it as a portable Bluetooth speaker.
However, it didn’t take long for the freshness of the Walkman to disappear. I only saw that it was a big plastic box playing a big plastic circle.
Although all the features of Revolution GO have brought record playback into the 21st century, there is still a thorny problem. why Something like this exists.Really, this is the whole idea of this device: one person hangs this 1-pound rechargeable record player on the guitar strap-along with a series of vinyls-go deep into the woods and listen to some Eagles or Rachmaninoff Among the woodland creatures.

Final thoughts
To be honest, I really like Revolution GO as an independent turntable, and even like concept I can almost take it with me, but I can’t really imagine myself dragging a complete turntable-and records! -Take a hike, picnic or beach day with me.
This is of course a novelty. One of those tweed, luddite-fashionable things, such as writing with a manual typewriter in a coffee shop, resolutely despise the progress of technological progress. This is a small niche market that Victrola caters to, but for them, I think this is a very good toolkit that will have many uses.
