Yesterday, the social media site exploded due to a viral video claiming to show a white police officer “planting evidence” in a black driver’s car. This led to a strong mob atmosphere against the official. Under these circumstances, he eventually became a trend. What is obvious from the video is that the police officer is a racist, and the police abused black people unfairly.
This is the original clip.

Most people who read my article know that I am not an absolutist who “supports blue”. I respect what the police do and believe that the vast majority of police officers are honest actors. However, I am also keenly aware that any entity controlled by the state may abuse its power.Had Countless examples In the past year, the police were clearly wrong in their enforcement decisions.Even outside the U.S., we Saw Australian police abuse people Yesterday refused to be locked in their house due to COVID. After all, the police usually obey orders, and these orders are not always fair or ethical.
In short, when any video about the police appears, I want to look at the evidence in one way or another before making a judgment on what happened. In the case of this viral video, for many people, such caution is necessary.
Subject: So the following video, which claims to show a police officer planting drugs on an African American driver, went viral on the Internet yesterday. As you can see, it has spread to hundreds of thousands of people. This has led to human searches of the police involved and widespread condemnation of the police. https://t.co/SMFT4yzR7L

Fortunately, the police officers involved are all wearing body cameras (this is important to protect citizens from such abuse by the police and police).
This is a body camera video in which officials explain what happened after the clip: https://t.co/4WXoclID0z

No one was arrested for any drugs. The only citation issued was speeding. The person who posted the original clip knew this, but left it out in order to promote the mob. The facts are unlikely to change the harassment that police officers and their families may now face.

This is about “planting evidence”. Usually, if you do this, you will “find” the evidence and use it against the suspect. Before getting the body camera lens, the person in the car only received a speeding ticket. This fact should be a clue that no evidence was implanted.
It seems that a routine search has taken place here, possibly with the driver’s permission to search the car (by the way, never agree to a search without a search warrant). It turned out that one bag was empty and was put back in the car. That’s the literal meaning. However, the bad actor ran to social media with an out-of-context clip provided by the crook in the car and placed the target on the police officer’s back.
Those who spread false information about videos on social media bear a lot of responsibility in this situation. I have also been assured that large technology companies want to reduce misinformation. What about banning Rex Chapman? However, this will not happen because he spread the “correct” error message.
In any case, the person who shoots the video and presents it as otherwise should also be held responsible. Lying to such a person, the police or others, knowing that it may put them and their families in danger, this is pathological and depraved behavior.
For those who share this video under the guise of a fight for “social justice,” this kind of stuff will only hurt their careers. But this hypothetical division is not the point.
