The goal of the city of Frankfurt, the state of Hesse and the federal government is to develop St. Paul’s Church into a “national place of remembrance, memorial and learning.” The Minister of State said: “If we raise the public’s awareness of freedom and democratic places more strongly than before, it will strengthen the strength of civil society and thus strengthen our democratic defenses.”
