raw material:
- 2 3/4 cups watermelon, diced
- 1 kiwi, sliced
- 1 nectarine or peach, sliced
- 1 – 2 scoops Dr. Kellyann’s Complete Collagen
- 1/4 cup coconut kefir
- 1/8 – 1/4 cup water
- Elective:
- 1 to 2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar, as desired (optional)
route:
Place watermelon, nectarines/peaches, and optional honey in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain into a bowl to remove any seeds/pulp. Mix the juice with collagen. Once mixed, fill the mixture about 3/4 of the way into popsicle molds of your choice and freeze.
Once the watermelon layers have chilled, remove from the freezer. Sprinkle a little coconut kefir over the watermelon layer. Freeze and set a new layer.
Meanwhile, place the kiwi in a blender with 1/8-1/4 cup of water to form a smooth/watery consistency rather than chunks. Add this layer on top of the kefir layer and freeze again. enjoy!
Pro Tip: Use wooden popsicle sticks instead of plastic popsicle sticks in molds to ensure a more secure hold on the popsicles.
