We’re headed to Florida in a few weeks for a short but much-needed trip (hope no Noreasters the day we fly out). It’s been 4 years since we went away for winter break after last year’s trip was canceled due to COVID-19. Four years! It’s hard to believe it’s been this long, needless to say we should have done this long ago. It was a very quick trip, but I was just hoping for a few days of sun, sand and salty sea swimming. I’m usually not an overpacker, we only do carry-ons because flying can be very messy these days. When it comes to clothing, I keep it very simple and casual. Here’s my go-to for warm weather vacations!
Since we plan to be at the beach most of the time, I brought two bathing suits, this black one and this printed a (I chose a size up). For cover-ups, I like button-ups or mini dresses.i bring The Sézane button down and this mini skirt From indian daughters. I’m always wearing a hat and I’m packing This straw hat in a new color (I’ve used the lighter one for years). For beach shoes and everyday sandals, I’ll bring mine Arizona Birkenstocks.
For the costumes, I also kept it simple.i bring this dressmine AGOLDE Dee Denim Shorts, Madewell cotton shorts, Sézane Conrad T-shirtand my Outdoor Voices Activewear. I’m packing these leather sandals Another shoe option, in case it’s cooler in the evening or in the morning, I bring This striped sweater from Faherty.
For a bag, I brought my Straw Paloma tote from Sézane (not in stock right now but This is a style similar to). I also like to bring my Lululemon Belt Bag Good for travel as it is very simple to use as a bag and purse.
That’s pretty much everything. I did get Marin some new stuff because she’s grown by leaps and bounds since last summer.this cute piece and this long sleevee (she picked it out, so cute). this sleeveless dress and this short sleeve dressand these sandals.
