TOTP generation process

Use another mobile phone to scan the QR code
After this verification, Zerodha will again ask for a six-digit password. Now comes the tricky part. After verification, there should be a QR code at the top of the screen. Without the Google Authenticator app, this QR cannot be detected. You can scan with another phone to get the six-digit password, or you must install the Google Authenticator app on the phone you are currently using to get the password.
Scan the QR code with the same mobile phone
If you use the same mobile phone for QR scanning. Then you must first install the Google Authenticator app on your phone. Now copy the QR from the options given below the QR image. Go to the Google Authenticator app and paste it to the designated location. You will get pins there. Now put the six-digit password with you in the TOTP verification section of Zerodha. Login process after TOTP
After the TOTP is generated, you must log in again. In this case, please put your password under your Zerodha ID. The next thing you will see is to enter TOTP, and you must use this Google Authenticator app again and again to place it. Because it changes every 10 seconds. This means that every time you log in to your Zerodha ID, you now have to enter your password and TOTP number. This also means that a six-digit password is no longer required to log in.
