All they seem to do is Bow down in front of OPEC And begged them to smoke more. Because OPEC oil pumping obviously will not affect climate change, only drilling and oil pumping in the United States will affect it.
But then, Psaki said something she might not have said and gave up the game.
Psaki said at a press conference on Friday that high prices should make us more willing to switch to clean energy options.

“Our view is that the long-term increase in natural gas prices provides a stronger reason for us to double our investment and our focus on clean energy options, so we do not rely on volatility and OPEC and their willingness to increase supply and meet market demand,” Psaki said.
In other words, if you are suffering now, it is because you really need to learn a lesson that green is the only way to go.
So, this is why they acted as if powerless on this issue, which is beyond their control, because they really want to use rising prices as a big stick to promote their green dreams.
