The launch of low-end GPUs may not have gotten as much attention until 2020, but after two years of scarce inventory, many buyers will be looking to pick up the new RTX 3050 so they can at least play some games.
Reviews suggest performance similar to GTX 1660 Ti
Reviews so far have been very positive, and it can play most games with ultra presets (if you turn off ray tracing) at 1080p or 1440p. It offers similar performance to GTX 1660 Ti / GTX 1070. However, it doesn’t beat the RTX 2060.

Reports say hundreds, not thousands, of these GPUs will be available immediately in UK stores. Most likely thousands of people are not enough, so you can expect GPUs to sell out quickly.
When will the RTX 3050 be available in the UK?
According to reports, the RTX 3050 review will be released on January 26th at 6AM PT, exactly 24 hours before the official release of the card.
The time is converted to 11AM GMT. Cards used to roll out around 2pm, so it’s likely that’s when they roll out.
Where can I buy the Nvidia RTX 3050?
In previous launches, some companies would publish product pages before launch, but no one seems to have done so for this launch. This may be a requirement from Nvidia.
