China’s Warring States Period finally laid the foundation for the Chinese national identity for centuries.
Several small kingdoms competed for control and eventually established the Han Dynasty after a brief rule of an overly harsh kingdom. The Han Dynasty will eventually become the way for the Chinese to identify themselves. They are Han people, or just Han people. Over time, many of China’s development methods originated in the Han Dynasty.
But they were a response to the Warring States period, which was much more chaotic. Multiple factions are vying for control in China. The bloody and cruel war seems to never end.
Since there is no American presence in Afghanistan, I think we are seeing another Warring States period in the Middle East countries. The only problem is that there doesn’t seem to be any revival of civilization at the end of it.
The Taliban currently control the country and there are reports that they are re-implementing the strict anti-women measures they had previously implemented in the country. At the same time, al-Qaeda has clearly risen there. A branch of ISIS, Known as ISIS-K, Also moved in.
ISIS-K clearly wants Afghanistan. There may be fighting between these two groups. Who knows how Al Qaeda fits into this equation, but there is always some deep hostility between the various factions of Islam, and they are not known for using words to resolve differences.
I don’t think that there will be a faction war in Afghanistan, but considering that we have left a lot of weapons and military equipment there, if it is really upgraded, it will become very bloody. All the blood will flow into Joe Biden’s hands, as well as the blood of those who were beaten by Taliban forces while trying to evacuate. Because Biden created a sudden and completely avoidable power vacuum when he withdrew without a real plan, the country fell into chaos.
There are no plans to let tens of thousands of Americans and legal refugees leave the country. There is no plan to relax our way out while still supporting the Afghan government and army. Only surrendered to the Taliban. The initial agreement with the Taliban is certainly not Biden’s fault, but when Trump is no longer in power, you cannot blame Trump for his botched and terrible exit.
In response, the intelligence community is leaking information to the media to let everyone know that Biden has the information needed to make a reasonable plan. Withdraw our troops. He chose not to listen to the right people, and now the country is in chaos.
