Retaliation against the “occupiers” will become a theme in Afghanistan’s future, and thousands of Americans are among them.
This situation is untenable. In my opinion, it is impossible for us to avoid sending troops back to Kabul and surrounding areas. There are too many stranded Americans who are unable to go to the airport on their own. This means that there will almost certainly be public battles in the next few weeks, and when the shooting begins, who knows what will happen next?
