review – I have now been able to test from Vaux I have become a big fan. This time around, I’m testing a much-needed tool that will make my DIY tasks more flexible, especially when I need to carry my tools on the road. I want this tool to work like other Worx tools I’ve tested. Let’s get started with this Worx 20V Power Share 7.25″ Cordless Sliding Compound Miter Saw.
what is it?

This miter saw is made of metal but is relatively light. It includes a locking slide mechanism, an on/off switch and a safety trigger switch, a lever to hold the material securely in place, a locking bevel adjustment of up to 45 degrees to the right, a horizontal plane angle range of 45 degrees left or right. As well as a dust outlet and a dust collection bag. It also includes extension arms for handling long materials. It is cordless.

Performance
The first step is to make sure the battery is fully charged and ready to go.

With the battery installed, the next step is to set up the saw to cut the material at the desired angle. At 90 degrees it will cut material about 8 inches wide and at 45 degrees it will drop down to about 5 inches. The saw is lightweight and cuts well with minimal vibration. The sliding mechanism isn’t as smooth as my $500 Plus DeWalt, but it’s pretty good. Best of all, the saw is cordless and portable, and the battery allows me to make a lot of cuts before I need to recharge. I haven’t worked on a project that drains the battery, so I’m not sure what action the saw will take when it is indicated that the battery is too low. I do want the mechanism that holds the material to the sawing board to be adjustable so that I can increase the width and thus increase the point of contact with the material. The extension arm is suitable for long materials that can be handled without the need for a very long extension arm or extra stand. The shadow line function works well.
Below is a short video showing the Worx 20V Power Sharing 7.25″ Cordless Sliding Compound Miter Saw in action. Disclaimer: I’ve been using power tools as a DIYer for a long time. The proper way to use this saw is to wear gloves, it is not recommended to hold the wood with your hands close to the blade. A mechanism to hold the material in place should be used. So if you’re not very experienced with this kind of equipment, please don’t do like me:
what do I like
- build quality
- built-in function
- Includes safety features
- Lightweight to carry around
- Ease of use and performance
- Battery Life
what would i change
- I would like the clip holding down the material to be longer or adjustable so it can be closer to the center of any wider material.
final thoughts
I’ve really become a fan of Worx products and the Worx 20V Power Share 7.25″ Cordless Sliding Compound Miter Saw is another reason. It’s relatively lightweight, easy to assemble and use, contains all the features I need, and gets the job done. I like the fact that having other Worx products that use the same battery means I can use it for extended periods of time at work away from home without worrying about the power supply. Well done Worx again, two thumbs up! !
