Crowdfunding Review – Not surprisingly, I receive a lot of packages at home, and the first task of receiving a new package is to open it. Pooh! I usually hunt around in a drawer for scissors or a utility knife, but I may have found the perfect little (very small) tool to keep in my pocket for these tasks. Here are five G3 Mini EDC unboxing knives and ballpoint pens. It’s currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, and I’ll give you all the details here. Let’s go!
What is it?
Uben G3 comes in pill form Multitool Equip your keychain with a “blade” and a ballpoint pen.

Design and Features

The Wuben G3 is available in stainless steel or aluminum with decorative etching as pictured above, and is only 1.25″/9.2mm long.

G3 has two ends. There is a magnetic cap on one end that protects the heart blade.

The blade has a nice tip, it’s sharp, but not so sharp that it will cut you.

The Wuben G3 has a split ring on the other end that you can use to attach the tool to your keychains, necklaces, zipper pulls, and more.

That end is also a cap that unscrews to reveal an extra small ballpoint pen pen.
You definitely wouldn’t use this pen to write your next great American novel or even a short story because it’s awkward beyond a quick signature or checking off a to-do list. But the whole idea is that even if it’s really small, you can always have a pen when you need it. The Wuben G3 comes in E61 refills, and Wuben sells a box of 50 on its website for $9.90.
I really wish the ends were magnetic, as screwing the cap back on is a bit of a hassle. There’s also the issue that since the cap cannot be attached to the tool when in use, it’s easy to accidentally misplace either end.

what do I like
- small pen to carry around
- Quick keychain tool for opening boxes
what would i change
- Make the cap also magnetic
final thoughts
Wuben G3 may look novel Electronic data center Toy, but it’s actually a useful gadget. Due to the pen’s small size, I find the unboxing knife more useful/easier to use than the pen.
The Wuben G3 event ended on 22/04/22 and they have already exceeded their funding goal of $5,004. You can pre-order the Wuben G3 for $12. After the five copies of the G3 event, the rewards are expected to start shipping in April 2022.visit their crowdfunding page for all the details.
