Yaber V10 projector review rating
Generalize
As far as cheap projectors are concerned, the Yaber V10 projector provides good brightness, making it more useful in a variety of conditions than almost any other projector I have used, which makes up for its shortcomings elsewhere.
advantage
- 1080P
- High brightness (claimed 8500 lumens) makes it usable in medium-light environments
shortcoming
- No need to adjust the bracket (if you want to adjust the angle, you need to support it)
- Fan noise
- Bad speakers
I reviewed some Affordable projector Now, some are full-size like this, others are mini or even pico.
Generally speaking, you will get the price you paid for this kind of thing. All the projectors I have seen are acceptable, but their lux levels are often very low, which means you need a dark room to use them properly. Fan noise and general image quality are usually also an issue.
Yaber V10 is better than average. I would say that it is the brightest and most affordable projector I have reviewed, which makes it more useful in a variety of brightness conditions. This is probably the most important aspect of a projector, so even if it has a lot of negatives, the image quality and brightness can make up for it.

set up
I immediately encountered a big problem with Yaber V10. It does not have any adjustable legs or pop-up legs, so if you put it on a table, it will point the image horizontally towards the wall. In my case, it was too low, so I had to support it. You can mount it, and it will work well in this case.
The zoom option provides a negative zoom instead of a positive zoom. Therefore, you can only make the image smaller, not larger.

Digital keystone correction

This comes with a 4-point keystone correction done through the setup menu. This sounds much better than manual adjustments on other projectors, but I find it difficult to straighten things out. It’s just a bit confusing to use. It won’t be a big problem if you keep using it in the same place, but it’s annoying if you have to redo it all the time.
If you are projecting on the correct projection screen, this will be easier because the screen will provide you with some references to where you need to correct the image.
In use / Brightness / Picture quality

As far as cheap projectors are concerned, this is by far the best image quality and brightness of the equipment I have used. The image is clearly visible in medium light, and in dim or dark light, the image is actually quite good.
I mainly use HDMI to connect devices; this Fire TV Stick 4K Max Is ideal. With Fire TV, I can use Plex and Netflix at the same time without any problems.
This will play content from USB, I have no problem playing 1080P files. I did not bother with 4K or HEVC as the specification of H.264, not H.265. I suspect this usually conflicts with 4K files, it will only downgrade the resolution to 1080P.

The fan is noisy. All projectors will encounter this problem, but subjectively, I would say that it is louder than normal.
Like all projectors, the built-in speakers are also poor. If you use it for things like presentations, it will be useful, but I really don’t want to use it to watch movies. Fan noise can also be heard through the built-in speaker.
You can connect audio via Bluetooth or 3.5 mm headphone jack. Bluetooth introduces some delay, so I recommend using a 3.5mm jack. The audio will obviously only be stereo and not the 5.1 you need HDMI arc Or the optical output used for this.

Prices and alternatives
The Yaber V10 projector is available for purchase on Amazon for £229.99, and there is currently a £45 coupon
Yaber also offers many other projectors with similar lumen ratings but at a lower price.
Alternative brands have almost identical specifications at similar price points.
overall
Yaber V10 has a lot of annoying things, which makes it less attractive than some of the other options I have reviewed.
Most of the reviews are very negative, but most of these problems are inherent in cheap projectors. Compared to other options, the only thing I have to say is the lack of angle/height adjustment. If you put it on the table, you may have to prop it up, which is just a hasty way of doing things.
Unlike other cheap projectors, I use it to provide high-quality images in both medium and low light. Medium light may fade a bit, but many competing options are barely visible. The image quality in low light is surprisingly good. I hope that when you use it in an outdoor movie theater, you should also be able to get pretty good quality images.
