Review – My husband has been struggling with back pain since he fell off the stairs when he was a teenager. One thing that always seems to help is back massage. Although I was happy to help, my hands quickly became too tired to apply proper pressure to release the knots in his muscles. Yunmai Technology’s slim and elegant massage gun can prevent this from happening. Using the massager, I can easily put pressure on his knot without making my hands feel tired. It also allows him to massage himself, which allows him to relieve muscle strains on his own.

Design and features
The four heads are soft rubber and pushed into the front of the gun. Everyone has a line on their collar to show how far they must be pushed in to ensure safety. When fully secured in the spray gun, the wire should just be visible. If there is a gap between the thread and the collar, the head needs to be pushed in further. It does require a little pressure to fix the head in the gun, but it means that it will not fall off with all the shaking.
The design of the gun itself is very simple. There is a socket on the front of the gun to push the massage head in, and the rear of the gun has control buttons and four LED battery indicators. After installing the head, press and hold the power button to turn on the massager. To cycle through different modes, short press the power button, and the corresponding mode will light up. The massager has five different levels, the standard mode has three levels, and the massage mode has two different levels.
Personally, I can’t really tell the difference between the two modes, just speed. The instruction manual also provides a useful guide on which head and which muscles to target. As a safety precaution, the massager will automatically turn off after ten minutes. You can turn on the massager again and continue, but their manual states that a massage time of ten minutes after exercise is sufficient.
The massage gun can be charged without a stand, just insert the massage gun base, no need to install it in the charging base. The battery life of the gun is amazing. Although I personally did not drain the battery when storing the battery on the charging dock, Yunmai claims that if it is used once a day for a 10-minute session, it can be stored for 84 days without charging.
The charging base is a very convenient accessory for the massager. The base uses the same plug as the massager, so there is no need for another cable. There are also two sticky pads on the bottom to prevent displacement. This is very useful because it does require a little force to pull the massager off the base. If there is no sticky pad, the entire base will also be lifted, requiring two hands to remove the massage gun. If the mats are dirty, you can wipe them clean, and once they are dry, they will become sticky again. The base also has enough space to store three unused massage heads, as long as you store one of the heads in the massager.

This was my first experience with a massage gun and it did not disappoint me. Ease of use and multiple heads mean that it can be easily customized to anyone’s needs.
