Review: Zeeker P10 weighs 11.4 ounces and is a very heavy phone. This is an important task. Emphasize heavy. It has a 6000 mAh battery, so it will be. It is also diving. No, it will take underwater photos. Continue the conversation in the bathtub, anyone? Can Zeeker P10 be your daily mobile phone with such specifications? Or would you buy it for special purposes?

Design and features
The Zeeker P10 is built into a protective case that cannot be removed. The 108 MP camera also has an infrared function, allowing you to take very detailed photos in complete darkness. The speaker and microphone are located at the bottom of the case on the back of the phone, but their location does not seem to affect its function.
The following applications are located within the “Outdoor Toolkit” icon: Barometer, sound meter, compass, flashlight, bubble meter (level), height measurement, magnifying glass, alarm bell, hanging picture, plumb, protractor, pedometer.

There is a special function button on the left side of the phone, which can be programmed to execute applications or functions through the phone settings.

Installation and setup
The battery capacity of this phone is about 60%. I plugged in the included charger and started the Google Android setup process. I did not notice any setting changes imposed by Zeeker. If data and settings are transferred via Google from a previous backup of another phone, the speed of Android phone settings may slow down. This is how I set up a new device, so it doesn’t matter how much time it takes. Zeeker is set to complete in about an hour. Most of the time is spent downloading all my applications.

Test and observe
Operator compatibility ——
I checked the compatibility of this device by entering the IMEI/MEID number on the websites of the three major mobile operators in the United States or by phone.
I found out that Zeeker P10 was reported as incompatible By three operators. This phone works on my provider (T-Mobile), but the system indicates that it will only use their slightly older 4G LTE network. There is a symbol on my notification bar that shows VOLTE (Voice over LTE) and 4G. This technology can meet my needs, so I continue to use the device and record my observations.
Stop the press! A few weeks later, I checked the IMEI number on T-Mobile again and it now shows that the device is fully compatible. I checked it several times in a week, and it showed that it was compatible and equipped to use their latest 600 MHz enhanced LTE system. My enthusiasm for P10 has increased!
Next, I checked the IMEI number with Verizon. The result is—incompatible with Verizon.
To the Death Star… AT&T was unable to check the IMEI number on their website, even though it showed a link to do so. I had to call AT&T.
AT&T now lists the specific brands they will accept on their network. If your phone is not on it,’No AT&T for you! ‘So P10 cannot be used on AT&T.
Will the Zeeker P10 be a “T-Mobile only” phone? A Zeeker representative told me that this phone can be used on T-Mobile and Verizon, but not on AT&T.
According to my experience, if I insert the SIM and try the service, can the phone run on these two carriers?

weight ——
This phone is very heavy, with a built-in 6000 mAh battery and a protective case body. But when my P10 is in my pocket, it is not annoying. I forgot it was there until I needed it. It is too thick for formal jeans, but very comfortable in work pants and loose jeans. (Loose is not a “loser”.)

Fingerprint Reader-
The fingerprint reader is a flat oval between the two leftmost screws in this photo. It is as reliable as most fingerprint readers, and occasionally problems occur.

Protective shell ——
The protective cover of the mobile phone is of course very strong. The phone will not creak or bend in your hand or pocket. But the surface of the grip on the side of the phone is as smooth as greased Teflon! I know that the device should be drop-resistant, but why seduce fate on a smooth surface? If the side of the phone is made of the same textured material or rubber as the back of the phone, it will be easy to grasp.

Screen ——
The screen is bright (according to your settings) and clear. It is difficult to photograph the screen, but the objects, graphics, and text look clear, and the colors look accurate. If the screen is recessed in the housing, the screen will be better protected from impact. If the screen of this phone falls, it is likely to directly touch the floor, sidewalks, etc.

Note the orange lanyard slot.
speaker And microphone ——
The speaker is located on the back of the phone. It is clear that the volume can be increased to “a little too loud” indoors. This loudness may be helpful outdoors or in other noisy environments. According to the manual, the speaker grille is on the left. Although it looks like the microphone hole on the right, it may just be a vent. The manual says that the microphone is at the bottom of the phone, and there is a barometer port under a similar hole on the top left of the back of the phone.
camera ——
Megapixel counting can be a marketing perspective that makes us think we have the best. Since the optical components are as small as a cell phone, the software behind the camera actually makes our cell phone photos look as good as them. Having said that, the 108 mp camera on the P10 can also take clear pictures under strong light.

The Zeeker 108 MP picture is at the top, and the 12 MP Pixel 3a XL picture is at the bottom. The P10 is set to a full 108 MP, but I think I saw the extra sharpness in the 12 MP pixel lens. Full disclosure, we do have to adjust our pictures for the website, but these pictures depict what I saw when I checked the original.

This is a comparison of using the P10 to take an unedited low-light photo, and then using the Pixel 3a XL to take the same object. Pay attention to the watermark on the P10 picture. In my opinion, the Pixel 3a XL picture is better. Pixel takes great photos in low light.

This outdoor scene shows that Zeeker P10 and Pixel are comparable.

Clear and accurate bright light photos of our “Toy Doberman” (aka Chihuahua).

In this mixed-light-level lens, I would not call the results very good, but maybe “okay.” Literally, take some shots in the dark.

These are night vision lenses illuminated only by infrared LEDs in a completely dark room. The details are pretty good. Interestingly, almost none of my shirts are white, and a few of them are black.
Call clarity ——
The microphone is on the back of the phone, but the people I call can hear very well, and they can hear clearly through the phone receiver or speaker.
Speed/processing ——
During my testing, the phone never lags or crashes. In addition to the banking application, I installed all of the more than 150 applications that I use on a normal mobile phone. When using the P10, I did not encounter coverage or speed defects, nor did I encounter service interruptions.
renew ——
The phone is running the September 2021 security update. Google releases security updates approximately once a month. A Zeeker representative told me that they are testing the upcoming security update and hope to push it to P10 phones in mid-December.
During my testing, as soon as the app update arrived on my other phone, it would reach P10 via Google Play, which is expected.
Some well-known manufacturers produce good phones, but the security updates provided are not timely enough. Operating system upgrades may lag far behind major brands. Hope that Zeeker will continue to perform Google’s regular security updates and irregular operating system upgrades.
Battery –
With such a large battery, I know I have to comment on it, but battery performance varies with each user and their operations on the phone and the applications they use. I agree with modern recommendations to keep the power of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries between 40% and 80% to achieve the potential for the longest battery life. I keep the Zeeker battery at these levels. To me, the battery consumption rate seems to be about half of my normal mobile phone. This makes sense, because Zeeker’s battery is about twice that.

what do I like
- The battery capacity is pretty good
- P10 has a modern operating system (Android 11)
- All hardware components seem to be of high quality.
- Specs are very respected

What will i change
- The grip surface should be-no-very slippery.
- The screen glass should be embedded in the case to provide additional protection in the event of a drop.
- The phone should be compatible with the US carrier.

Final thoughts
The Zeeker P10 is fun to test and use, and it performs well. Compared with my daily driving mobile phone, considering its weight and camera output, it may not be able to completely replace my ordinary mobile phone. Since Verizon reports that P10 is not compatible, I’d better recommend it to users on T-Mobile. If manufacturers can solve this problem through Verizon, the unique features of Zeeker P10 will make the device more marketable and attractive.
