Zeus Arc GTS Hub Review Ratings
generalize
Zeus Arc GTS Hub is a great all-in-one solution. As a newbie, it gave me everything I needed and super easy grinding and pod loading, which worked great for me. The compact and airtight design seems to make it suitable for on-the-go and generally more diffuse use.
advantage
- A complete system with an idiot-proof novice-friendly grinder and pods
- Pods make loading on the move easier
- Compact and well-sealed design makes this more portable
shortcoming
- Not sure if the price premium for gold-plated parts on the Arc GTS is worth it over the Zeus Arc S Hub
- Inhalation feels more restricted and less natural than Xmax V3 Pro
- Limited temperature options
I’ll start this review and apologize if this isn’t a topic my regular readers appreciate, but I think it’s a very interesting topic. Many countries are now legalizing marijuana, and its potential health benefits are well documented.
I will also warn readers that I absolutely love vaporizers. I don’t smoke at all and I’m mainly interested in this medicinal use to help me sleep.
My sleep is not as bad as it used to be, but I often have trouble falling asleep and waking up at night. Many of them seem to be anxiety-related and difficult to shut down.
I have tried almost all sleep. I am very healthy now, practicing good sleep hygiene, avoiding caffeine etc. I’ve used every supplement that might help with sleep and haven’t had any luck with various types of CBD. The only thing I didn’t put a lot of effort into was mindfulness/meditation, but it was hard work, so I continued to pursue a chemical solution.
So, a mason, I am not. I’ve been curious about vaping for a while now, and it’s the most logical solution for someone who wants to reap the health benefits.
Due to my limited experience, I also bought the popular and affordable Xmax V3 Pro for comparison. I also tested it with my family. They are easily delighted and thus rarely use criticism.
When I was originally offered the Zeus Arc GTS Hub kit for review, I did minimal research and saw positive comments, so I accepted the review.
After further research, I came across r/vapor And quickly realized that the community really didn’t like Zeus or any brand associated with it.
Other forums don’t seem to have such a big problem.
My opinions don’t quite match those of users on Reddit, but I think it’s important to highlight this issue because my limited experience means my opinions may not match those of other users.
To clarify, this is not a paid review, but I received the Zeus Arc GTS Hub for free.I bought the Xmax V3 Pro with my own money, based on Reddit vaporizer consensus.
As of this writing, no affiliate links are included, so I have no financial incentive to recommend this.

Pods and Zeus Xtruder Grinders
Perhaps the main selling point of this vaporizer is the entire system. The Zeus Arc GTS Hub comes with an evaporator, but also includes a Zeus Xtruder grinder designed for automatic installation of ArcPods.
You simply pack the pods into the bottom shell, add hay on top and turn the handle. This will grind it on the funnel-shaped tube and fill the pods automatically.
The little pod is a genius design that allows you to load up your Zeus Arc GTS with ease and simplifies the cleanup process.
For me, pods are very appealing because I’m not vaping for enjoyment, I just want to get work done as soon as possible and relax before bed. I can prefill multiple pods and don’t have to worry about days if not weeks.

It’s also ideal for anyone vaporizing on the move. You can take the pods with you and load/unload them as needed.
ArcPods isn’t perfect. They’re made of very thin aluminum, are reusable, and aren’t as fragile as I initially thought. However, if you carry these with you, you’ll need some hard cases for them.
With further research, I found that the concept of pods or capsules is not unique, but they are usually extra cost and/or 3rd party solutions. A similar product is Healthy Rips Fury Edge Dosing Capsules.

is using

You can use the Zeus Arc GTS without the pods, but I don’t see any reason not to use them. They make life easier. Filling the pods and loading and unloading them is simple. One problem is that a funnel grinder does leave some herbs in the funnel and it can be difficult to get all of it out.
Using the vaporizer is as simple as holding down power and waiting for the three LEDs to light up. Then choose the temperature, 205°C for a single LED, 215°C for 2 LEDs, and 225°C for all three LEDs.
These seem to be fairly high temperatures, and it would be nice to have an option below 200°C.
The Zeus Arc GTS took over a minute to heat up, and significantly longer than the Xmax V3 Pro. It’s not a very long time, but compared to the Xmax, I do find myself frustrated with it.

There is a very small slit mouthpiece that feels like airflow is restricted. Due to my novice nature, when I tried it for the first time, I wasn’t sure if it worked. By contrast, the Xmax’s airflow feels more natural.
I found that I coughed a lot with Zeus. I think it’s a combination of higher temperatures and I’m drawing harder because I don’t think there’s much airflow.
The end result is that the overall effect feels larger than similar sessions with Xmax.
Although I didn’t cough much with the Xmax, I did feel it more in the back of my throat.
Once, I accidentally popped the Xmax’s magnetic cover. Nothing dropped, but it made me realize that it might not be an ideal solution if you want to carry it around in your pocket.
Subjectively, the Zeus arc GTS smells less strongly. I don’t really like the smell and don’t want it in my house. I have to put Xmax in an airtight tub and I can’t smell Zeus. Also, if you carry Zeus in public, this seems to favor Zeus.
Not that it makes any sense for the review, but my sleep has improved a bit. When using it at night, I find myself focusing more on the TV than feeling wired and compulsive to pick up my phone or laptop. So it’s not a magic cure, but it more or less lived up to my expectations and was much better than my experience with CBD.
Price and Alternatives
Zeus Arc GTS Hub is priced at £173.99 at tvape.co.uk. It’s also on Amazon, but it’s more expensive with £20 shipping.
This Zeus Arc S Hub for just £130.99. As far as I can tell, this is the same as the GTS, just not gold plated. I doubt gold plating will help much.
I bought it Xmax V3 Pro around £75
The Healthy Rips Fury Edge V2 is another affordable option at around £130
The Zeus Arc GTS Hub includes a grinder and pods, you’ll also want to consider those costs.
A cheap grinder costs £15, while Health Rips Fury Edge dose capsules cost £15 for a pack of four.
comprehensive
I like the Zeus Arc GTS Hub kit, I don’t like it.
The restricted airflow (compared to the Xmax V3 Pro) feels unnatural to use. However, the overall effect is the same.
The limited temperature settings are less than ideal in my opinion. I find my virgin lungs are happier at cooler temperatures. The heating time seems to be much longer than the Xmax V3 Pro, which I find annoying.
Other than that, the Zeus Arc GTS Hub is not bad. I like that it’s more compact and discrete than the Xmax V3 Pro. The herb is also safer in vaporizers, so it seems to smell better than the Xmax when carrying it around in your pocket.
The pod system also works great for me, and the grinder makes it idiot-proof. The combination of the compact airtight design and pods seems to make it a better fit for when you’re out and about. When I’m at home, I’m more inclined to use the Xmax V3 Pro.
While I do like the Zeus Arc GTS, I’m skeptical about the benefits of gold plating. I’m more inclined to buy the more affordable Zeus Arc S.
