360 Robot S10 Vacuum Evaluation

This is why having a reliable sweeping robot is very important to me. 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner is not only an excellent robot vacuum cleaner, but also mopping the floor at the same time!

Design and features

The 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner is equipped with sensors and functions.

The top of the vacuum is a three-dimensional lidar sensor, and there are sensors on the front and sides.

At the bottom of the 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner, there are six cliff sensors around to prevent the robot from falling off the stairs. It has only one side brush, which is a bit disappointing for me because I have many corners and crevices, dirt and dust are hidden in it, if it goes around the perimeter of the room in the wrong way, it won’t get the dirt away Go to the cabinet below.

However, my favorite feature is the detachable brush. I have very long hair and I have to cut my hair from the brush roller every time I apply a vacuum. The detachable brush makes it easier to remove anything tangled around. I no longer need to dig around in a vacuum to clean the rollers.

The water tank slides to the back like a standard trash can on other robot vacuum cleaners. Filling up with water and sliding into place is very simple.

The detachable mopping floor has magnets and small plastic clips attached. The washable mop pad is made of microfiber, slides into the plastic slot on the top of the board, and then fastens it in place with Velcro.

The 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner sprays water from under the mop board, so there will never be any accumulation of water.

Since the water tank is in the normal position of the dust box, the dust box of the S10 is hidden under the flip cover on the top of the vacuum cleaner. It comes with a built-in filter brush and a blade, which can cut off anything wrapped around the brush roller.

The trash can is very easy to empty because it can be emptied from the bottom by pressing the green tab on the side of the box. The filter can also be removed and cleaned.

There are only two buttons on the vacuum, because you should use the app to operate it. But it can be recharged by suspending it by pressing the power button and sending it by pressing the button that looks like a power plug. To turn off the vacuum cleaner, you must press and hold the power button for three seconds, and holding it for 15 seconds will force it to shut down.

application

The application is very simple and intuitive. The main screen displays the vacuum status and has three customizable quick operation shortcuts.

In order to be able to use most of the functions in the app and the mop attachment, the vacuum cleaner must be run once so that it can create a home map. After the map is created, the app will prompt you to mark the room, indicate the floor type of the room, and adjust the room size.

After setting the house map, you can use the tab at the top to select the operating position of the 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner. You can choose to run it on specific rooms, entire houses, or specific floor types. The vacuum cleaner is very efficient in the way it moves around and selects the cleaning mode. Even when it runs for the first time, it will locate to the perimeter of the room and then meander through it. It can easily handle everything on my floor and carpet, from the long hay kicked out by rabbits to the litter scattered by my cat. The mop attachment can remove most of the mucus from my hardwood floors. Since it didn’t really scrub the floor, the real clumps of dirt were not lifted up, just got wet. Even if it does not do a perfect job, it must be disgusting after the mop pad.

An interesting additional feature is the ability to view the floor plan of the house in 3D, including floor types. I personally think this view is useless, but it’s fun to switch to it just to see. The 3D scanner on the top of the vacuum can well prevent collisions and accidental inhalation of objects. My house is always full of dog and cat toys. Even though I tried to pick them all up before running the vacuum cleaner, someone would steal one or two of them, and then randomly drop them somewhere. Vacuum cleaners have never tried to suck up toy mice or chew toys like I imagined. Instead, it always navigates around the object without hitting it. Considering how small the cat toy can be, I am very satisfied with the sensitivity of the sensor on the S10 because it can detect very small things and operate around it.

In the Toolbox menu, you can schedule automatic cleanup, edit or reset the map, and reset the status indicator percentage on the home screen. You can also point out areas to be cleaned deeply and increase the suction power of the carpet. S10 can clean multi-storey houses, but since there is only one-storey house, I cannot test this function. One thing I did find is that the English translation in the app is very good, but sometimes it may be slightly different from what they are trying to convey and what they actually say. An example is the accessory option in the toolbox. I interpret the accessory as an additional accessory for the vacuum, but it is not necessary for operation. But this is actually how you can reset the percentage on the home screen. If you wipe the sensor and want to reset the percentage to 100% again, the button to do this will display “Sensor Reposition”. Therefore, it may take a minute or two to search for a setting.

One of my favorite features of the 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner is that if there is a problem with the vacuum cleaner during operation, the app will send you a push notification. It will notify you if the trash can is not properly seated, the vacuum cleaner is stuck, bad things are sucked, and many other problems.

what do I like

  • Washable mop
  • Removable brush roller
  • Mobile phone operation notification

What will i change

  • Second side brush
  • Better English translation in the app

Final thoughts

Although I only have experience with other robot vacuum cleaners, the performance of the 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner has improved by leaps and bounds. Ultra-sensitive sensors, logical cleaning modes and feature-rich applications make this vacuum cleaner stand out. It has become part of my daily cleaning routine. Although the price is quite expensive, if you can splurge, the 360 Robot S10 vacuum cleaner is definitely a good choice.
