Review – Soul Emotion Pro ANC earplugs –’Designed specifically for calls. Born for music. This is the marketing proposition, but can these earplugs do it? One of our Gadgeteer reviewers is looking for the best earplugs on the planet. Can Gary’s search be over? I will describe what soul emotion experts do well and whether they perform poorly.

Installation and setup
The Soul Emotion Pro earbuds will enter the pairing mode after being removed from the charging case. Every time I take them out of the phone case, they will often say “paired”, but they will automatically connect seamlessly with my phone, and the AI voice will say “connected”.
Test and observe
pair
I have a few earplugs and I have to “forget” and re-pair them many times in a week. For soul emotion experts, I have never done this before.
fit
Maybe my ear anatomy is different from others, but I doubt it. The earplug with the farthest point is placed on the inner surface of my ear canal. Place your index finger in your ear. Tease me? The part of the ear canal that blocks the finger, that is, the surface that the earplug touches. The sound is not blocked, so the volume will not be reduced when wearing, but if the earphones do not touch my ear canal, they may be better “fixed” and more comfortable.
deal with
My fingers must be used to handling flower buds accurately. Since the angle of the buds was cut, they seemed difficult to handle safely until I mastered it through practice.
control
Both earbuds should be used throughout the day, because the left earbud controls the volume and the right earbud controls answering and hanging up calls. I just accidentally hung up a few callers by adjusting the right earbud, and my fingers did not touch the control area of the headset.
ANC
I call the automatic noise reduction provided by Soul Emotion Pro earbuds “basic”. You cannot count on these earplugs to protect your hearing from external noise levels. One of our bathrooms has a loud exhaust fan. I will even go there (pun intended) for product testing! The fan is still noisy when the ANC is on, but it has obviously been reduced. After turning off ANC, the fan noise seems to be amplified a bit, probably because the external microphone transmits the sound directly to my ears.
App sound adjustment
The “soul” setting may not necessarily imply the music genre. For me, this is a very balanced sound setting for most music styles. In the “soul” mode, the midrange and treble sounds best. The bass guitar exists and sounds good, but there is almost no kick drum when playing certain songs in “soul” mode.
When listening to some light rock music, the “rock” mode mainly enhances the high pitch of the “soul” mode.
The “blues” setting seems to only increase the overall music playback volume.
The “Classic” setting seems muddy and reduces the level of all sound frequencies. It sounds like I have a little cotton in my ears, and then put the earplugs in to listen. Oops. I think the “Soul” mode handles the range of classical instruments better than the “Classical” setting. A complete orchestra has a full range of musical frequencies that should be appreciated.
The “bass” mode does increase the low-frequency tones, but in some songs, it will muddy the high-pitched sounds, such as snare drums, cymbals, and top hats.
I may not use classical mode for any music style.
The beauty of the Soul app is that not only can you control the music style settings of each song if you want, but the app also has all the controls that the earpiece does, and may be more than “tap, oops, try again” Reliable’ with earplugs.
Multipoint connection
I’m testing a phone here for upcoming reviews, so I have always carried two phones with me for a few weeks. I paired Soul Emotion Pros with two mobile phones. If I listen to the podcast on mobile phone A and a call comes to mobile phone B, mobile phone A stops playing and the ringtone of mobile phone B comes through Soul earplugs, and I can answer the call through them. As advertised, this feature works well.
A practical use case is to use Soul Emotion Pros in a Zoom call on a laptop, and then your phone will receive a call or text message. You can cancel or answer the call through Soul Pros, and you will also hear text prompts through them (if you use them).
conversation quality
In addition to hanging up a few callers by trying to adjust the earbuds, the audio quality is good (I hear people well) and the microphone quality is good (people say I sound good.) When I compare earplugs, I’m talking with some patients My mobile phone is used alone in the family’s phone, and it is reported that the mobile phone can transmit my voice better. When using Soul Emotion Pros, my voice quality is said to be “not bad”.
what do I like
- Soul Emotion Pro is perfect for podcast streaming, live broadcasting, and phone/online meetings.
- The battery life of the earbuds and case is great.
- The charging box keeps its charge well. It will close the earbuds many times before it needs to be charged.
- Very good bass response. ‘OK’ is suitable for listening to casual music.
- It’s great to have an app that can adjust earbud preferences and performance
- The multi-point function is flawless.
What will i change
- Earplugs do not always accept control taps.
- Controlling the tap does not always trigger the desired operation.
Final thoughts
Soul Emotion Pro earbuds are perfect for voice and music. As time goes by, I listen to various music styles and like them more and more. If you are a casual music or podcast listener, and you want to use earplugs while doing housework, exercising, participating in video conferences, walking, or near home, then these might be good choices. If you are looking for high-end, accurate music reproduction, please continue to watch Gadgeteer reviews as we continue to search. But I think Soul Emotion Pro earbuds are generally very good.
