Review – We should all use dental flossers in our daily lives, right? Over the years, I have experienced more than a dozen. Enter the Flosmore cordless water flosser, which promises to provide some concise features that you can find on more expensive devices at a favorable budget price. How is it done? Let’s use dental floss. To review!
What is it?
The Flosmore cordless water flosser is a rechargeable water flosser.

Design and features
I will not bore you with the benefits of a dental flosser. There are a lot of them there. The Flosmore cordless water flosser has some nice features, but it is different from other flossers I bought and/or tested.
You will get a typical nozzle set for standard dental floss, between braces and bridges, tongue cleaning and gum massage. There is nothing special there.
The difference here is that the button on the top of the device allows you to lock or unlock the nozzle when changing accessories, allowing 360-degree rotation. It prevents these nozzles from popping up while you are doing business.
This is another nice feature. The water chamber is locked in the host by twisting. This in itself is a typical feature of these devices and is easy to clean…
But this device has a sealed water injection port at the bottom, so you don’t have to take it apart to refill it. My old dental flosser does not have this function, and now I don’t realize how useful it is.
Your controls are also very simple. The mode button allows you to select your options when the device is not powered (a good advantage). The options are as follows, from left to right in the figure below:
- “D” stands for DIY, which allows you to set the required water pressure.
- “S” stands for strong and basically explodes with a maximum of 140 PSI.
- “P” stands for pulse, which pulses between the maximum pressure and the low pressure used for gum massage.
The green indicator shows which option you have selected. No matter which one you choose, the device will preset a working time of 120 seconds before turning off.
If (and only if) you are in DIY mode, you can use the dial to adjust the water pressure from 20 PSI to 140 PSI. The flosser will remember your last setting, which is great if you have sensitive gums and don’t want to reset the pressure every time. I also like the dial and digital controls, because you can operate it while working without spraying the bathroom.
The charging port is sealed with a silicone plug and has a drain to prevent water from entering. The waterproof rating of the entire device is IPX7, which means it can be immersed in water for up to 30 minutes or used in the shower.
You don’t get a power brick, but the included cable is compatible with USB. This is very useful for traveling or reusing one of the many USB blocks around you. Don’t lie to me… I know you have.
One of the great features of the Flosmore cordless flosser is that you don’t charge it often. They claim that you can use it normally for 15-30 days between charges. I can confirm that this is indeed the case. When I got the device for testing, I charged it fully. I have used it for 4 weeks, 2-3 times a day, and I have not recharged it yet. My old dental flosser needs to be recharged once a week. This is very impressive.
Performance
I introduced the overall usability and design of the Flosmore cordless water flosser in the overview. There are many things to like, but I want to pay special attention to the power of the device. The maximum rate of 1650 pulses per minute and the maximum pressure of 140 PSI are even higher than many top water flosses provided by some market leaders. This may not be a big deal to most people, but I find it makes a big difference to me. Compared with my previous equipment, I found a difference, especially in the corners and crevices where stains tend to accumulate.

Final thoughts
You should have a water flosser, and you will find them everywhere, from $10 units to $200 high-tech solutions. The Flosmore cordless water flosser has some very good features that I have only seen on high-end flossers, but it is very affordable at a price of less than $50. There is nothing to be angry about this. We will see how it continues under long-term testing.
