Review – Last year, I reviewed X-Chair X2 K-Sport Management Chair (Long name) It has become my daily WFH chair.Then in February of this year, I reviewed another X2-HMT K-Sport Management Chair Added heating/massage function to the lower back. I really like the Heat Therapy and Massage Therapy (HMT) options, but the chair is not the “wide butt” model of my original chair (don’t ask). Now my much thinner wife uses that chair and likes it. This brings us to this: Elemax cooling, heating and massage device. This additional component is the same as the HMT unit, but with the addition of a dual fan cooling element. The question is, “Is it effective?”

X-Chair Elemax is a cooling, heating and massage option suitable for most dynamic variable lumbar (DVL) parts of X-Chair. It includes dual fans as well as heating and massage elements. Like the HMT option, the massage function has a constant or variable massage cycle with 2 massage intensity levels.

Design and features
Elemax can be installed on an existing X-Chair or can be ordered together with a new chair. I am looking at a separate add-on attached to my original X-Chair.
Everything in the box is basic: the Elemax device, a hard plastic plate, which is stuck on the Elemax once installed, and a USB cable with a matching plug.I recommend when charging Is not Use a chair because the rope will block it.
I will not discuss any heating or massage opinions because it already covers This review. I would say I like both. The massage feels good, you can choose several vibrations. On cool days or if your back is sore, the heat setting is good. However, I cannot use it in summer because…it is summer now.
Installing Elemax is quite easy. The instructions are short and a bit vague. The installation guide does not mention that there are two wide shoulder straps on Elemax. I asked X-Chair and was told that the shoulder straps are suitable for other chairs made by X-Chair. I can ignore them, so I did. Once the edge of the Elemax is pressed into the edge of the DVL, the hard plastic sheet will click into place, holding the Elemax firmly in place. That’s it.
Another benefit of Elemax is that it is cooled by dual built-in fans that blow directly on the lower back. When running, the fan works well and is as quiet as possible.
The fan (and heating and massage function) is designed to run for 15 minutes (cycle) and turn off. Before the battery needs to be charged, it can run 7 cycles (only 20 cycles of massage) through the covered charging port. Therefore, unless you always plug the X-Chair into a power source, you will not be able to run these functions for 8 hours.
The cooling button is now part of the heating settings. It only needs an extra press to switch from heating to fan. Otherwise, all buttons are in the same position as the HMT option.
Although Elemax’s ability to help you stay calm at work is a good idea, I have a few questions.
When my back is pressed on the waist (DVL) part of the X-chair, I cannot feel any breeze from the fan. Only when I lean forward can I feel the cool air. However, I don’t sit like that-I like to press my lower back firmly in the DVL. It’s okay to leave it on for cooling, but it’s not troublesome enough.
Then there is the grid. My X-Chair has mesh fabric instead of usable leather. I chose mesh because of its breathability, which is important in the humid summers of Florida despite the air-conditioning. After installing Elemax, the grid on the DVL was almost completely blocked.Because the window air conditioner in my backyard studio building is behind me, I actually get more When the Elemax is not in place, my waist will cool down. Of course, I did not get the heat (in cool days) and the benefits of massage, so this is a difficult problem.

Final thoughts
I really like Elemax’s heating and massage elements, but you can already get it in cheaper HMT devices. Although you may appreciate the cooling aspect of Elemax, it makes me a little overwhelmed. If there is a choice, I will buy the HMT option on Elemax and save some money.
