Forecasters said that the situation will become warmer throughout the week, and the temperature in the Midwest is expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) on Sunday.
The temperature will rise steadily and may reach 28 or 29 degrees Celsius (84 degrees Fahrenheit) on Saturdays and slightly warmer on Sundays.

“High pressure will dominate this weekend, bringing sunshine and warmth the weather,” Sky news Meteorologist Kirsty McCabe said.
Ms. McCabe added, “In the next few days, most places will be dry with strong summer sun”.

Videos on social media showed the extent of the heavy rains on Monday, which mainly affected the southwest and northwest of London, including the boroughs of Richmond and Kingston.
One user shared a video of Portobello Road being completely flooded, while another user posted a clip of water pouring down the stairs of the Sloane Square subway station.
There are also photos of people swimming in a pond caused by a thunderstorm in Primrose Hill.
The London Fire Brigade said it had answered more than 1,000 flood-related calls and urged residents to make calls only during “real emergencies.”
Rainfall exceeded 4 cm (1.57 inches) overnight. The broadcaster SRF stated that the record was 4.11 cm, and Lausanne fell within 10 minutes during a storm in August 2018.
