At American universities, they invest in security.
In the name of protection, AU has added a black-only option to its required racist discussion category AUx2.
According to campus outlets eagle, The new iteration of the freshman curriculum comes from last year’s events:
In the spring and summer of 2020, a group of black peer coordinators began to advocate for the AUx2 part of black affinity, and played an important role in its implementation, providing opinions at monthly meetings…
Providing a race-exclusive version is not an easy task.
Each outlet:
AUx2 is a mandatory course for all first-year students. It studies race and racism-mainly anti-black…
This course explores how this kind of prejudice “is embodied in the socially constructed power system.”
[I]It also covers the intersection of race and other forms of oppression, as well as conversations about privileges and access levels.
Nowadays, oppression is a hot topic.

The lessons of “anti-racism” show that heterosexual white Christian men—for example— oppress non-Christian minorities.

As a society, we have changed gears significantly.
We not only pursue unity in different ways; it seems that we have decided that unity should not be the goal.

A person’s skin color, it is asserted, Commemorative.
This view led to the leadership of the seminary school Tell students the following:
“People may be curious,’Why do I only want to talk to white people about race? So, I can tell you some of my own experiences in white party caucus meetings. This is how it creates a space where we can really solve our white problems. And how we socialize in a way that does not harm our colleagues and students of color.”

say breeze, Senior American Zoe Washington praised the lack of harm:

Izzi Stern, a curriculum project manager who works closely with advocates, said that the purely black interpretation of anti-black analysis makes it easier to bear:
“We must have heard from black students and other students of color that these materials are of great significance to them because it is part of their life experience. We want to create a space where they can get together in the community, And get an overall positive experience in the course.”
