Review – Audio, mobile phone and home accessories manufacturer Baseus is changing the landscape of power accessories. We have seen power boards and chargers. We have even seen large and bulky power strips with several charging ports. Baseus just launched the PowerCombo GaN 65W combination power board and four-port high-power charger based on the latest gallium nitride (GaN) technology. This allows Basesus to keep the 65W charger and power strip in a small position while still providing excellent output capability and thermal management.
Let’s see!

Design and features
The front of the Baseus PowerCombo GaN 65W charger/power board looks like a basic 4-port charger.

On the business side, we saw two USB-C and two USB-A ports. The white area at the top is the power LED indicator.
At the bottom, we can find all technical information and certification labels.

The side is the difference between this model and other similar units.

There is a three-phase 110V port on both sides of the Baseus PowerCombo GaN 65W charger/power board. This allows it to double as a two-port power board and a four-port high-speed charger.
Performance
Let’s start by discussing various output scenarios.

The thing to remember with this charger is that if you charge via USB-C, it can only provide 65W of power, and this is the only USB connection you use. Anything else will reduce the output because it is limited to the maximum output of 65W for the four charging port combination. If your laptop consumes more than 65W, you must use the original charger and plug it into the 110V port of the device. All in all, this is a good choice, but it does require you to carry another charger.
Nevertheless, the Baseus PowerCombo GaN 65W charger/power strip can charge everything I throw at it. Here, I am very happy to charge my Surface Book, Baseus mobile power supply, And a flashlight, while also providing a 110V power supply RAVPower charger, That is to charge more fees.

My laptop is charging and my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is charging in super fast mode-everything is working as expected.
what do I like
- Small size
- Multi-function output port selection
- Good power delivery
What will i change
- If this is a 100-120W charger and it can handle higher power output, I would be very happy-nonetheless, it is very versatile
Final thoughts
We always have a lot of equipment to charge when we travel. If you travel with a lot of electronic products, even those that require higher charging power, and you still have items that require wall plugs, then the Baseus PowerCombo GaN 65W charger/power board is your best choice. With its four charging ports and two wall power ports, it can simultaneously charge a large number of electronic devices.
