Review – My wife recently purchased one of the Series 6 Apple Watch, She likes it. It can monitor her exercises and activities, let her quickly read text messages, can easily access Siri, and so on. The Apple Watch is quite expensive, but considering all the features she gets, she finds that her watch is worth the money. However, Apple’s watch strap is another matter. They are very expensive-some sell for more than $500-we just don’t think they are worth the money. My wife chose the cheapest band she could find, a black sports band made of Viton (a type of synthetic rubber). I thought it was practical but not attractive.She has been looking for something more visually appealing and cheaper, and I think she has found what she wants Bellroy’s strap.
What is it?
This is the strap of the Apple Watch. It uses high-quality leather on the outside and polymer on the inside. It comes in a small or large size and comes in five different colors. Belloy It is an Australian company, hoping to “make your life into technology”.

The only things in the slim case are the top and bottom of the strap.

Design and features
Looking at this strap, I would say that it has a smooth, elegant and traditional design. Compared with any sports strap or loop strap provided by Apple, leather gives it a more refined appearance. It is perfect for shopping, going out at night or church on Sunday morning. Although the toffee my wife chose is a timeless color that can match many outfits, Bellroy also offers bolder blues and greens for those who like to stand out.
Installation and setup
It is easy to install the strap. Looking at the ends of each half, I can see that they are used to slide in and out of the watch body. There is a small black “bump” in the middle to hold the band in place.
Turning the watch over, I can see a pair of faint “buttons”, one on each side. I press the button, slide the old strap down, and then put on the new strap. I did this for both the top and bottom, and it was done.
Performance
My wife likes three aspects of this band very much. First of all, as I mentioned above, she likes the way it looks. Judging from the “rubber” appearance of the sports band, its appeal has been greatly improved.It looks comparable to the cost of the Apple Band Nearly five times.
Secondly, she likes that the inside of the strap is made of polymer, rather than made entirely of leather. When we are just walking nearby or hiking on mountain trails, this anti-sweat material allows her to bring a band. Third, compared with Apple’s pins and folding closures, she prefers traditional buckle buckles. It just suits her better and puts the watch on her wrist nicely.
I will end with a humorous approach: there was a problem with another gadget I was reviewing, and I accidentally sent an email about the problem to Bellroy’s technical support, not another company. In their response, Bellroy expressed sympathy to me, told me politely that I had found the wrong company, and provided suggestions on how to find the right company. I think they are the kindest emails I have received from electronic equipment companies. Good job, Bellroy!

Final thoughts
Bellroy’s Apple Watch straps are stylish and affordable. It is made of leather and polymer, so it looks good and can be used for many years. My wife put her sports watchband made by Apple aside and put this toffee-colored watchband in its place. She didn’t look back. If you are looking for an improvement in quality but are unwilling to pay Apple’s usually high prices, then my wife and I suggest you take a closer look at Bellroy’s straps.
