review – I really don’t like using the speakerphone on my iPhone because I don’t like the sound of other people using the speakerphone. I don’t want to sound like “in a cave” or far away. Maybe the Beyerdynamic SPACE speakerphone can put me to rest.

Design and Features
The Beyerdynamic SPACE Bluetooth speakerphone is just over 5 inches wide and covered in a beautiful fabric cover. At the top are eight touch-sensitive icons arranged around a ring. When paired, the ring near the Bluetooth icon glows blue.
I found a USB-A adapter in the package, which I found fits neatly into the slot on the back. Also, note the tripod threads. Four rubber feet help keep the space from slipping.
On one side are the lock slot, USB-C charging port, and power button.
After power on, you can check the battery level by pressing the battery icon. Green means full. The ring turns yellow when the battery is between 25%-62.5% and red when it’s between 0% and 25%.
Performance
The first surprise I got was when the Beyerdynamic SPACE Bluetooth speakerphone was activated, the greeting sound at startup was startling, like something out of an action movie. Of course, it conveys strength.
Compared to other speakers I’ve tested, the SPACE sounds more like a music Bluetooth speaker first and a speaker second. Two passive radiators give this little speaker a lot of ‘boom’ in such a small space. I won’t be disappointed listening to music from this little speaker.
But how do I sound to the caller on the other end? In informal testing, I found that SPACE does a better job of echo cancellation than the iPhone’s built-in microphone. After a few seconds, the space seemed to learn, and the background echoes became less noticeable.
Four microphones also played a role. If you’re speaking to SPACE, there are no “bad seats.” You will be heard. Use your iPhone’s built-in microphone. I sound farther away than facing the bottom mic.

final thoughts
I have yet to find a small bluetooth speakerphone that impresses me. The Beyerdynamic SPACE speakerphone was the first to do so. I will definitely use this.
