Beyonce Teases Launch of Her Hair Care Line

The Beyonce Hair Care Line may be here sooner than we think.

Stop what you’re doing right now—we’re not being dramatic—Beyoncé might be launching a beauty line. The celebrity posted a set of images to Instagram on May 16, showing her curling her hair while sitting at a dressing table. For the typical follower, though, that’s not surprising. But if you also have a PhD in Beyoncé’s research, you know that only her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and longtime stylists Neal Farinah and Kim Kimble do her hair regularly.

Also in front of her were vials of beauty lab tests that appeared to be unmarked. In addition, according to the website of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, “B” submitted trademark applications for “non-drug hair care preparations”, hair gel, shampoo, and hair conditioner in 2012. BGK Trademark Holdings, sometimes referred to as Beyoncé’s holding company, is the trademark owner. It suggests the star has been considering launching a hair-care product for at least a decade.

But the evidence doesn’t end there. Beyoncé asked fans for their memories of her first job, sweeping hair at her mother’s salon and leaving a handwritten note on the final slide of the carousel. In her final paragraph, Beyoncé wrote, “Having learned so much on my own hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.” Previously, she has described the positive impact salons have had on countless women.
