North Rhine-Westphalia has the highest incidence, with 127.7 new infections per 100,000 residents in 7 days. It is closely followed by Bremen (83.7), Hamburg and Saarland, with an incidence rate of 82.3. Saxony-Anhalt (15.0), Saxony (20.3) and Thuringia (21.9) have the lowest values.
Ten more people died
According to new information, Germany recorded 10 deaths within 24 hours. Four people died a week ago. Since the beginning of the pandemic, RKI has counted 3,937,106 detected Sars-CoV-2 infections. Since many infections have not been detected, the actual total may be much higher.
