Design and features:
I have commented on the behemoth of EcoFlow before Delta Pro portable power station And was impressed by its performance.
River Mini arrives comfortably with cardboard.

this power plant Much smaller than expected, only about half the size of a Scooby-Doo lunch box.

Like its larger brother, River Mini has an informative display. Information includes which outputs are turned on, input and output consumption, battery percentage remaining, and estimated time before charging or discharging based on whether power is being supplied or distributed.

Under a small door on the side, you can find power connections for charging, including IBM-style and solar/DC input sockets. Charging is very fast, from 0% to 80% in one hour. Wow!

There are two AC power outlets on the same side. The design of the sockets is very clever-there is a hole between them to insert a grounded power cord, even though the grounding pin is not connected to anything.

There is not enough space to insert two wires with grounded connectors, but there is no problem using grounded (3-core) and ungrounded (2-core) plugs at the same time. Of course, using two ungrounded plugs is no problem.

To activate the AC socket, use the button directly above the socket to turn on the inverter. There is a white LED to let you know that it is working.

Similar to the performance of Delta Pro, pure sine wave AC is as good as an inverter. Bravo, ecological flow. The rated power is 300 watts continuous and 600 watts peak. At rated power, the built-in battery should be able to power 300 watts for approximately 45 minutes. This may not sound like much, but 300 watts is a lot of power-this is a refrigerator that runs continuously for about an hour. Refrigerators do not run continuously—they turn on and off in cycles—so the actual running time will be longer.
River Mini is also equipped with EcoFlow’s X-Boost, allowing the use of devices up to 600 watts without overloading-X-Boost reduces the output voltage and current to inductive loads (such as electric drills, hair dryers and waffle irons) to allow equipment operation. This is an ingenious solution, and it has been implemented very well.

EcoFlow provides many configuration settings to customize your portable power experience.

The user can specify the type of DC charging:

Need to make sure that the content you want to insert is compatible? The app has a convenient playboy spec page:

On the front, on the left side of the monitor is the USB power panel. Three USB-A and one USB-C sockets come with an on/off button and necessary white LEDs to accompany them.

On the right side of the display is a 12-volt car socket, with a plastic cap to prevent debris and young children’s fingers. The power button, you guessed it, the white LED is under the socket.

Just below the USB power button is the IoT (Internet of Things) reset button, which is used to connect the River Mini with the EcoFlow app.

This application allows remote control and monitoring of all Wi-Fi connected products of EcoFlow. With just one tap, you can get a lot of information. Data for each power outlet group (USB-A, USB-C, 12V, AC and wireless) is available. The AC output data also has a graphical history of usage.
The power when fully charged is 210 watt-hours, which is only less than 20 recharges of my iPhone 12 pro battery.
Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere? A 100-LED light string consumes about 4.8 watts (the light string I used in the photo is much longer). River Mini will be able to power it for more than 40 hours. From a more practical point of view, a 100-watt household fan can run for about 2 hours, a 50-watt 32-inch LCD TV can run for 4 hours, and a powerful 75-watt laptop can run for 2.5 hours. Camping comfortably like home, anyone?

River Mini does have a sound cooling fan, which turns on when charging or powering the device. This is not the quietest, but it is also not the most terrifying.
The day after I received the River Mini, there was a power outage in my neighborhood, and we were out of power for about 5 hours. During that time, I used Power Station to provide lighting and power to the 40-inch TV and Roku (my Wi-Fi was already running on the uninterruptible power supply), allowing my wife and I to stay entertained until power was restored.

what do I like:
- Stable and clean power output
- Super fast charging
- A powerful connection application
What will I change:
Final thoughts:
Once again, I was impressed by the innovation and practicality of EcoFlow’s River Mini portable power station. I cannot express the practicality of having such a usable power station in the real world. There is a power outage (especially in my house), knowing I’m ready
