article – My contribution to the frequent “What’s in my bag?” series is – nothing. Look, I’ve been working from home (in a backyard studio/man cave) for 2 years. While I still carry a messenger bag 100 feet from the back door of my studio, it’s now just a pocket for my iPad Pro, wallet, and AirPods Pro earphones. boring. So, I put together a list of 5 items that I reviewed before and now use every day.

UPLIFT Height Adjustable Standing Desk: It’s hard to imagine that I’ve owned this table for over 6 years. It’s as reliable as ever – no issues. It still looks new, even after making it my permanent work-from-home desk for the past 2 years.

XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro Drawing Pen Monitor: The XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro is not only my primary drawing/retouching flat panel monitor, but also my primary monitor. While I wish the display was 4K, its 2K resolution is pretty good for a 24-inch monitor. I just ignored the many shortcut keys on either side of the monitor. Now, if I ever get a chance to look back at 24 inches 4K The monitor, well, this is going back to the box – soon.

Shinola Bookshelf Speakers: I admit that these speakers came back in the box a few years after my review. Blunder. One day I dragged them out and reconnected them to my work MacBook Pro. Omg I forgot how good they sounded!I listen to music all day While I’m working – sometimes it’s too loud. In my “real” office, I’ll never be able to do this. Now I can.

Creative Live!Cam Sync 1080P Webcam: It’s boring, but we use Zoom and Google, and Teams for meetings (no one can agree on one video conferencing method and stick to it). The Creative camera is 1080p and the quality is light years better than the cra… bad camera on the MacBook Pro. Plus, I can screw it to the shelf above the monitor so it doesn’t move or bump anymore.

Jackery Explorer 1500 Portable Power Station: It’s overkill, but this monster battery powerhouse powers most of what I’ve reviewed, so I don’t have to trip over the wires on the bench while testing things. This is a benefit I didn’t foresee when I reviewed it. I am spoiled.
